Great Job! For anyone who tries this on the 8V version good luck! It's hell to do this without messing anything up. I was so careful but because of limited access I managed to break off the plastic from my brand new spare part which was around 70€! I had to buy a new one and finally got it done.

Hello. Yes it is more difficult. I'm starting to record that video for the 8v and 10v.

Yep.....I did my 147 120bhp 8v thermostat. It was an absolute pig to change.

Excellent call to take extra measures when changing the coolant type. From my experience, I have once mixed types of coolant and the result was a chemical reaction creating a gelatin, that is really unwelcome. It as quite time (and water) consuming to flush the system to get rid of all the gelatin.

Hello. You are absolutely correct! And that gelatin gets in places that are very difficult to reach. Like around the cylinders liners

I have an idea. I think that I am going to start hiring out funnels. Yes funnels, because.. It seems that no one on KZbin has one? Oil...water...ATF.....every fill up is a game of chance and skill. Apart from that...thank you for more Alfa content.

Thanks for this tutorial. Is it possibile to have heating and temperature locking issues due to leakings or EGR excluded?
@alfaromeonoproblem10 ай бұрын
Hello. If you do not delete the heat exchanger, should not cause any issues

Hey there, my temperature the other day went down immediately after breaking. Normal exercise temperature for my 147 is 90°, but at some point during the night when i was coming back home, if i slow down the car with the break pedal the temperature went down of one notch? What can be? My alfa is brand new 30.000 km
