How to replace the Wiper Blades on the VW ID.4

Thank you so much. Your step by step (including the oops on the adapter) was so helpful and allowed me to change my blades in less than 5 minutes. Now if I can just find the replacement rear blade, I would be set.

Couldn’t find an aftermarket so just bought the VW part. Works so much better than the original one that came with the car. Not sure why. @@EVTipsAndTricks

Thanks! I've had my ID.4 for just over 2 years and also had been lazy to finally change them as well. I got the same wipers and was great that you specifically point out the adapter is #4. Popping off the default one takes a little force, otherwise this was a snap to do!

Can you replace the rubber blade section like on many other cars, rather than the whole piece? I got a fright yesterday when I bought new blades for my VW Amarok @ $70 aussie dollars. Crazy price when my last vehicle cost $20 to replace wipers

The wiper blade spoiler direction is up i.e., letter L turns 90° CCW.
