I have a 2016 Kia forte lx with obd code p0301. I checked my plugs and cylinder 1 and 2 had oil in the plugs 3and 4 looked dry but plugs for sure needed to replace. Should I replace valve cover gasket?

As of today 12/02/24 I have not replaced mine yet, on my 2015 Kia Forte LX with 472,000 miles. Just now I´ve noticed a little bit oil around one of the spark plugs cover, but on the spark itself.

I didnt take out the came position sensors I left them with the valve cover wnd took them out Wirh the cover is that okay?

Helpful, but NEVER allow the cover tip on its side after removal, lift it straight up and out. There's a lot of debris on the outside of the cover that can fall into the engine and cause significant issues.

@@esjayjunior8373nothing, the sealer acts as an additional barrier for certain spots that are exposed to more stress or have irregular surfaces. Its optional
