If ur removing the loosen the thingy before the oring I find that it’s easier to use ur nails and for the oring I used a Philips head screw driver I don’t remember the size but it worked and since I was replacing the ir cut it was ok to scratch it but I didn’t

no effect at all. exactly the same as before... really look and feels the same. sharpness is awesome no problem.

Fellas same thing happened to me. But if you take a table glass suction cup of 50 mm size (washed with soap & dried with clean cloth) & stick it on IR glass, that would be removed easily. Mine was removed in first attempt itself

& don't forget to keep the front downside because the their might be dry residues which (otherwise) would fall on sensor. & before attempting this first clean the entire surface of filter (to be removed) with blower & lens brush & make sure that residues are moved outside camera

Again try to keep the front downwards (above your face to ensure U are not touching the sensor);during entire removal & subsequent cleaning process otherwise You might mess with sensor. & before placing the new filter use blower and lens brush to clean the area where the filter will sit

Same goes for O-ring. Clean it thoroughly (& gently) with clean dry cloth since it was also in contact with damaged filter & likely to have residues sticking to it

Hi Do you have experiences with BMCC EF , After turning on camera there is black screen with pulsing lines , I have to wait turn on few times and after few minutes is everything OK a I can work , can it be problem with sensor or battery , I contacted BM and they told me that they can not repair it so i dont know what to do I am from EU Thanks

just remove the rubber i guess that would work. but if you are unsure of it, then go remove the screws make sure you can bring it back.
