Thanks for the video and sharing your experience. Written descriptions only go as far as saying "drill it out," but not where and how big a bit to use. If I have to resort to drilling, I will use your experience as a guide.

Nice! I gotta drill mine out, my key only goes half way. I ordered my parts last night. Honestly owning a 66 has changed my life for the better. Instead of spending my time on negative things the mustang keeps me occupied. Thanks for the video, God Bless

Thanks for the video. This helps expand and clarify the written descriptions that say 'drill it out.' I have wondered where to drill and how big a bit to use. Your experience will guide my efforts if I have to resort to drilling. (What is it with some of us Mustang owners that we can't keep track of our keys?😄😉

I ugga-dugga’d a 3/8” drill straight down the middle and had it out in 5 seconds 😂 I’m replacing everything so if you don’t care to reuse the ignition/bezel/switch do this for fast results

If you look at how long the key is, that's how far you have to drill?
