How to Reset EPSON Waste Ink Counters using The INKCHIP WIC Tool!

Used the InkChip program (with promo code - thank you). Followed the instruction with purchase; installed necessary programs...Worked great. Had to shut off McAfee so the InkChip program could run; prior to that, the shortcuts that the program installed on the desktop were failing.

No because XP15000 have user replaceable waste ink tanks. Resetting works only on printers with internal non user replaceable Waste Ink Pads.

Greetings Jose. I have a converted R2000 that is not working and I need help. I am getting the paper and ink light, simultaneously. I’ve reset the waste ink with inkchip and the adjustment program, no luck. I also have an external waste tank. Will you help me?

I updated my Microsoft to 365. When I select deep clean it sees my printer but nothing shows on the reset count. Is there a reason why my printer wouldn’t show on the reset but does on the deep clean

I got all the way up to where the "Imput reset waste ink key" I enter the code I received and the screen says the code that I purchased for $9.99 is invalid. Now what do I do?

So, the purchased code can only be used once as a temporary fix? Do you have to re -purchase a new code every year or two, depending on your print usage? Or is the code a one time fix? Thank you.

That is correct. Once you perform this it will reset the counters to 0. You will then begin a new cycle of Waste Ink Generation and at some point you will need to reset it again. It is IMPERATIVE that you divert the waste ink to an out side bottle or you will end up with a flood of waste ink all over your table.

Well, you need to see if there is a resetter for those chips. If not then you can not.

Then you can reset it. Install the printer on any Windows Machine and reset it there. None of these hacks are made for Mac OS
