Without removing push-start button still worked with my E250 2011 but struggled to enter vehicle data as you said you need to be very quick. It worked thanks 👍

Tina I found out if you hold both buttons for a few seconds then it pop up on screen that’s what I had to do 2010 E350

I just changed mine 20 minutes ago! It is located under the dash on the drivers side...unless you have a 4matic, then it is in the trunk I believe. Tons of vids on the tube for the procedure to DIY.

Hello TR I have a 2011 E350, owned it just couple of months ago, I opened the hood to check the belt, closed the hood firmly, since then when I drive it " hood open" sign pops up. I tried to open and close hood couple of time with no luck. Any advise?

Try to close the hood firmly. Or open the hood with the car running then open and close the hood. The sensor should tell you right away if the hood is closed properly.

You forgot to mention that the trip display should be on miles and odometer because trip has several displays and if trip is not on mileage display this won’t work, other than that pretty simple 👍
