OK....ENOUGH already. I keep seeing videos with this stupid topic. Why do I need to do all that losing my time just to bring up size a previus reduced image and not IMPORTING it again in a few seconds? I mean I do have the original size image stored in my pc right?........ Or in a diferent Layer. The real question is HOW DO I KEEP THE ORIGINAL QUALITY IN THE REDUCED IMAGE and not look pixelized. I mean, I reduced the image for a reason, right? And I want the small version to look as clear as the original bigger image. So, how I do THAT? Also, RESIZE does NOT mean only ENLARGE images.

Thanks for your comment Haris. In fact, this topic is very hot because some things happen related to it. For example, there are people that open the image and scale it up directly and save as the original, loosing the original image and also loosing quality. For instance if your original image its a jpg with 1000px and you open it on photoshop and scale it to 2000px and save it you will loose quality and many people don't know that, that's why its an helpful resource. Also, if you want to print an image to frame it, many people do the same way instead of using smart objects. I have saw a lot of cases like that. Answering to your other question about reduce the image and keep the quality, you can use Save for web, and keep 100% quality on your image.

@@RicardoCostaDesign Thanks for your reply. But I don't think your answer about my second question is what I need. Let me put it this way. - So I have to make a magazine page for example. Many text and just a little room for images. Then I have a clip-art image I want to place in a side of my text but the clip-art is big. So I have to reduce its size to make it fit in place next to my text. But doing that my clip-art image is losing the quality and becomes pixelized. That is my problem. How can I make my clip-art (PNG) image smaller to fit it where I want and keep the original quality? I hope I am clear because I have made the same question to several people but I got NO answers, at all.

@@hariszark7396 ok, let's try this and see if it helps. When you resize the image on photoshop to scale it down Image > Image size; when it opens the pop up window to insert the new values select also the checkbox resample and choose "Preserve details 2.0". By default I think Photoshop has "Nearest neighbour (hard edges) selected, so, try to change to Preserve details and see if that helps you.

@@RicardoCostaDesign I don't have Photoshop sadly but I use the free online app Photopea that is similar to Photoshop. When I go to image>image size it gives me three options: - Billinear - Nearest Neighbor - Bicubic Sharper I have tried tme but didn't worked...
