How to respool Lidl Strimmer Head Lidl Parkside 4 in 1 Petrol Multitool PBK 4 B3, and this might well work for other strimmers.
I made this video because someone asked a question about spooling these.

Thanks Ben. Just bought one it's awesome but instructions could be better so your videos did help. Have you thought about making a montage of all the dropping items! made me smile haha, thanks again.

I'm a bit late getting round to watching this one Ben - I could see plenty of space on your bench - I'm having to work outside at the moment because the shed is so full - I really must rectify that before we plunge into the winter!!! I've often wondered if some of the premium strimmer lines are actually better than the budget ones - I tend to find the line snapping frequently the biggest problem, and my strimmer doesn't have auto feed, so I have to stop and extend the line manually every time.

Yes, I suspect it is. Though this string had a hard time because I was mostly hitting hard brambles rather than grass. Many thanks for watching!
@GrumpyTim
@GrumpyTim 11 ай бұрын
@@BensWorkshop yes, it's the same for me, it's the hard stuff that mashes the line - I probably should use a brush cutter, but I don't have one of those. PS, that loco chassis on the bench looked lovely.

@@GrumpyTim It's an interesting chassis. Not much has been done yet. Only a 3 1/2 gauge but a big boiler.

When that head wears out look at replacing it with a speedfeed 400 ... you can reload it in less then 60secs with out taking it off the strimmer 👍

Many thanks for the suggestion Graham. Have you got a link to where I could find on? Mind you it does not take that long to change this one and you can do it on the machine. Many thanks for watching!

Nice one Ben, My flymo strimmer head is always always pissing me off! (The bosch 18v one where I 'adjusted' the head with a home made fixed blade a few years ago let out the magic smoke 🙄)

I have a nice Ryobi strimmer which I bought at B&Q sometime back in the Pleistocene Age but the bane is changing the string properly. I'd use it a lot more if the string didn't jam and tangle and melt and all that sort of thing. Oh well. Cheers Ben, you made this look almost enjoyable!

You've done 4 great videos, Ben. Many thanks - all were extremely helpful. I wonder could you tell me where I can get a new strimmer head - my own hit a tree and the eyelets and spring went for a flying journey into the long grass. The Komparnass website sells one for a similar model, designated PBK 4 A2. It looks nearly the same but a little different all the same. I can find no mention of spare parts for mine/your model PBK 4 B3 anywhere on the internet. Any help would be most gratefully received. Godfrey.

It takes a standard M10 left hand threaded head. For example: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B089NQBMNN/?coliid=IEYAQAEUZ3PIY&colid=5X5HSLDJMO93&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it Many thanks for watching, please like, share and if you like the channel, subscribe!

Many thanks Kev. I have put out a few shorts... And I have some editing to catch up on. It is an interesting one. You would not have thought that a 3 1/2 inch gauge locomotive would have a 4 3/4" barrel with a near 5" wide firebox. I suspect it will be a good steamer. Many thanks for watching!
