Lol I came to watch how to fully restore a saddle and I see the saddle literally has my name and initial on it 😂 and I was just given my first saddle! I’m so stoked and excited

Is there ever a problem with the dye staining breeches?

That’s the same kind of saddle I have but I have it with suede. My suede is all fuzzy and discolored so this really helps.

@@ReillyRanch Yes, the knee patches are made out of suede In the finished product is doesn’t look like it but before she dyes it you can see the lighter-colored part of the saddle flap where your knee falls. :)

What brand on dye did you use?

I’m not sure what brand she used but I’ve dyed my saddle before and I used Deglazer first. Then I dyed it with Fiebings Pro Dye. And lastly I used Resolene to seal it. The saddle has held its color really well and I’ve had it for over a year now :)
