How To Restore or Maintain Mercedes Leather (4K)

In this video, I go over how to maintain and restore Mercedes leather interiors. I use Leatherique products to rejuvenate the leather on my W211 E55 AMG. This process works on all Mercedes cars that have genuine leather such as AMG cars and higher-end SL, CL, S, E, and G-class cars among others as well as any other cars with leather. I am in no way affiliated with the Leatherique brand, the product just works great.

People often ask my how I maintain my seats, so this video will cover that. Also, a quick note is that this process won’t repair old cracks or wrinkles, it will just reduce their appearance, add a matte finish and prevent new wrinkles. Also, if your seats have a very shiny appearance and you need a stronger clean, use a horsehair brush as well.

Great video. I’ve been using Audi Leather care kit on my E63 as MB doesn’t offer a good leather care product. Audi product is good, but you should do it every 3-4 months. I will be using Leatherique next time, as I’ve heard great things about it

I believe you should shampoo the seats first to remove all the dirt and grime. Then apply a leather conditioner on clean seats. That is the method I have seen used most and I use. I’ve never seen the method you described before

I've been using 303 aerospace and never an issue great product. Interior on my E55 and E550 look brand new. One has 167k miles and other 148k.

Dont know if you will see this, karpetcm, but I am a big 303 fan and have used it on my Range Rover and other high end car interiors. Now I have added a S63 AMG with the full leather dash in saddle brown. I am researching a lot to be sure I get this right, and of course I will test in an inconspicuous area first, but I am thinking 303 for this dash (in a $220K car). The UV has to be one of the most destructive factors for these dashes - 303 is all about UV. And it keeps the leather supple. Thoughts?

The E 55 leather is actually nubuck leather. It’s a very special type of leather that requires good care.

@@Alb3rt710 It's easily doable yourself. If you use leatherique, i suggest doing it on a warm day, so the product can nicely pull into the leather. I used a different cleaner on my C32, which i don't have anymore. Tried leatherique on my now E55, and this does do more for the leather, cause it works differently.

You have to condition the seats or use a ceramic coating to protect them from the suns uv rays that’s what drys up the seats causing the leather to crack.

Its called nappa. It'll be on the option list as "exclusive" or "designo exclusive". You can get that type leather in a 63 or even an S550 with the designo option

I have a w219 cls63 amg, can this be used on the dash and door cards as well ? i’m pretty sure only the seats, armrest, and door card inserts are nappa leather and the rest of artificial leather.
