How to Restore Sun-Damaged Outer Grille Trim on 2017 Jeep Renegade with Cerakote Trim Coat Kit

In this video I show the complete process of how to use the Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat Restoration Kit on a sun-damaged front outer grille of a 2017 Jeep Renegade. I also show the results one hour and 30 days (and one car wash) after application.
Overall, I was pretty happy with the results. The damage is still slightly visible but it is a huge improvement. This black trim is different than the typical plastic trim that the Trim Coat product may be used for. It feels a little thinner and firmer, almost like metal (maybe it is metal?).

Much better my 75th is about that bad as well. I think I'm leaning towards spray painting and proper prep/taping prior.

I tried this and it really not worth the work. I just got a new part for $80 not bad and it’s matte black

Yes... about 8 months later and all of the sun damage is back on mine. So I would agree! You would need to apply the cerakote finish every 3 months for it work.

Flate black rattle can with flat clear coat. Works well . Take time to prep and tape off

JUST TAKE IT OFF AND SPRAY PAINT IT LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE. USE SOEMTHING LIKE PlastiCOLOUR
