Restore your computer back to an earlier time? No this does not do that. It is how to set up a Restore Point. It does not explain how to go back (1 day, 2 weeks, etc.). If I had a restore point that was already there then it would help. This assumes that everyone already has more than 1. Sorry but there are a bunch of videos saying the same thing "how to go back" that is not what is happening here. Thank you for the lesson though.

@MDTechVideos. Hey there MD, I'll need to create a restore point that isn't on a list. Owner said his Satellite C55D-A5382 was okay up until a month ago So I'd like to go back 2 months for this system restore, just in case he is wrong with the issues date that he's guessing all the issues started.... I pretty much got his laptop running right, I just feel he'll need the restore point I believe he'll need.... Among the issues he was having, 1: His Battery was bad & that was causing a lot of the problems. 2: He bought the laptop about 11 years ago & never ran a system defrag.... So I managed to defrag the C: & now it just needs to be tweaked a little bit more to be solid.... Edited: From the time I hit the Power Button until I am on the Desktop, it takes about 15 Seconds to 30 Seconds. I then Shutdown the laptop & run the same process again. After 3 or 4 times, it still takes on average, 30 to 40 seconds to Boot into the Desktop. Next, I went with Reboots. After 4 times doing the same ''Restarting'' of the laptop, it takes 1 Minute. This Toshiba Satellite C55D is running Windows 8.1, so I am very surprised I was able to get it where it is today.....

Hello. Thank you for your videos. I wanted to know what to do/my options are for going back to a specific date. I increased the number of system restores with the disk space usage but they are still disappearing. Specifically, I need to go back to January 10, 2020. I need to recover a deleted iTunes backup from my phone. Apple and Microsoft have been no help as I have been contacting them, along with various third parties and data recovery software, for months. I was hoping I could go back to that date to recover my file from shadow copies. I still believe that computers are smart enough to somehow get this data back. Would you have any advice on this? Also, I wanted to know if you knew what happens to system restores when you do a system restore? Do system restores save previous system restores and therefore you can just keep jumping back till you get the date you need? I hope this elaboration gives enough information to help me figure this out. Thank you very much!
