I appreciate you sharing your story. My husband and myself have worked through this and 5 years on the other side. I wasn't sure if it could work and so far it has. Praise God for my healed heart and his forgiveness.

Thank you I enjoyed very much. An affair is never the cause for divorce or marriage break up but a symptom of something bigger.

Cheers for this, I been tryin to find out about "how to make a relationship stronger after cheating" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Qenamilla Strayer Magnet - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my neighbour got amazing success with it.

It's interesting to see this thread of comments because in this scenario the man cheats and there is praise of restoring the marriage but on their other interview they had a woman who cheated and the comments are to leave her and very negative. Something I noticed. Men get all the grace even though they abuse it.

To anyone who sees this Please pray for my wife and I. I had an emotional affair and now my wife wants nothing to do with me anymore and I know it’s my fault but it’s soul crushing and I ask for your prayers please. I never thought I would’ve gotten to this place and I don’t want to lose her.

It's a slow fade. (I typed that just before he said it.) Don't step foot on the strange woman's door step! What kind of Christian woman knowingly has a relationship with a married man? Her door leads to death!

@vintagegirl68 My therapist said, Cheaters are sick, healthy people don't cheat. There are no excuses. Healthy people don't fall into affairs, unhealthy people do! He is saying this because he feels bad for his sin, it's easier to stomach what he has done.

I'm surprised that Focus on the Family didn't mention the program that Gary and Mona do called Hope and Healing, or their book: Unfaithful. Maybe the next episode will have more of that. :)

All married couples be thankful that you got someone to share your lives with. I'm wishing that I was a married woman and I wish that I someone to share my life with. You better learn to be thank for one another because one day your mate will be taken away from you either through death or from divorce you don't know what is up the road.

Not all that glitters is gold D.E. Jones. Marriage is intentional Daily full time work. Sharing your life with a fellow sinner saved by Grace is very hard. Daily dying to yourself and putting the needs of that person wether they are kind/faithful/loving/consistent/present…. Yes we should be thankful however please know it is NOT EASY AT ALL. I think it was Paul said in the Bible it is better to remain single, I was always offended by that scripture. Like, why would you say that? As a married person for nearly a decade I honestly do Understand more now why. I do love my husband but it is by no means easy.

This is disgusting. She was feeding his pride . He was very aware meanwhile deceiving himself. I hear so many stories about worship team members having affairs. Church leader ship really needs to look at this. Worship teams are in the forefront and examples to congregation much more accountability here
