Calvin delivered a superb speech outlining the steps that need to be taken to return the Church of England to God and reverse the wokeness that has engulfed almost all of its top tiers (bishops and much of the clergy). He describes his own personal experience, which culminated recently in the Church of England declining to ordain him into the priesthood.

Please pray for me. I’m sorry that I continue to cry out for prayers. I’m still struggling to provide for my two autistic children since losing my job over not getting the vaccine. I have pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more difficult for me. I don’t know how we are going to make it through. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I don’t know how I’m going to make it. I’m so embarrassed by my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked over my circumstances. It’s hard to hold my head up. BUT NO MATTER WHAT. @@deleted3843 Calvin is English, but you have to understand that white people use English as an ethnic identity. That will never change. Everyone is entitled to their identity and the truth is this is quite easy to deal with. Make a distinction between civic and ethnic English and make sure all are the same under the law and that should suffice. If you don't do that then it means you're giving one group a dual identity and denying another group any meaningful identity. You can't do that, it causes jealousy, tension and trouble. Most of the friends I've had from other communities would have said I'm Jamaican and British or I'm Pakistani and British etc. White people said I'm English and British, English was always about ethnicity for them and although it may make some people feel excluded which is a shame it's still the way it is and it will never change. It just won't.

@@davidsprouse151 if you listened to the whole of Calvin's speech you will hear that Calvin quotes these words of Jesus (Matt 10:34). As much as the gospel brings peace between God and sinners (Romans 4:25-5:1) it also brings DIVISION between those aligned with Jesus and those who reject Him. This separation is sharp enough to cut through the closest of family ties, even causing rifts, sometimes, between members of one’s own household (Matthew 10:35-39). Christ’s promise of bringing a sword isn’t to cause unnecessary conflict - Christians are supposed to live at peace with everyone “as far as it depends on you” (Romans 12:18). In pursuing this peace, however, Christians are also promised a life marked by necessary tension, because the kingdom of the world is at war with the kingdom of God. Each one of us will need to choose what to do with Jesus, and if we choose to follow him, our lives will look very different to the culture around us. Hope that helps to explain the relevance of the passage that Calvin references. 😊

He know's better.. Teach the Bible dialectically, why not? I think this all started with the repeal of the fairness doctrine in america. Remember point/counterpoint etc. I've seen historical films (just recently watched Dawkins versus Pell.) They give a much clearer understanding of the Bible. When one demonizes opposing viewpoints, that's when we know we're in trouble.

Great talk as ever. I’ve always thought it has been a major mistake for churches to move towards ‘the people’. Theology is theology and if the church truly represents a God then actually stay true to God’s fundamental teachings. There once a reformation for pretty similar reasons. CoE should no longer be a part of Parliament, if it ever should have been.

It appears that only in theory, she is the head of the Anglican Church! Otherwise she would have removed the heretical Archbishops that have have driven the church, decade by decade, into its current sorrowful state. However, Australia in Sydney, has a real Evangelical diocese with sound Biblical teaching! Not so in Britain! I went to a child baptism recently which more like a feminist politburo gathering! The eccentric woman priest was waving her hands in the air and stirring the waters of baptism violently! The sermon was given by a woman dressed with a low cut top (as is the fashion these days) and rambled on for over fifteen minutes with cheap talk! It was a shameful parody of a the respectful liturgy of the Anglican 'Book of Common Prayer', which the church has modernised to appel (they think!) to the modern people. The child was touched by water on the forehead three times, instead of water being poured on her head, which is minimum acceptable form of baptism! When later I enquired why, the minister said: the family had said the child was very water averse and was likely to cry loudly! Anything to appease people these days, the Church of England continues to loose numbers with churches being sold as properties for the living, or worse still, as mosques! Nothing hurts a Christian more than seeing a Church turned into a mosque in a Christian country. As the Saviour said of His disciples, when being urged to silence them: the stones will cry if these are silenced! Indeed stones are crying every Sunday, when heresy is being preached as Gospel and wokery as word of God!

I think you misunderstood the term "privilege." Privilege in this context is not about the standard of living that someone creates for themselves but the unconscious bias people of colour are subjected to because of centuries of propaganda. Having said that, equally there shouldn't be guilt for people who have never benefited or participated in such discriminations.
