amazing tutorial, I've been looking for content like this for a long time. As someone who has mostly learned how furniture is upholstered by taking it apart, most of the general sequence and techniques are pretty straightforward, but you cover a lot of nuances and more detailed techniques that are hard to teach yourself.

Two questions please,......1. are you using a piping foot when putting piping on? 2. Could I change a chair like this to have loose cushions ....if so do you have a video/ could you do a video on how to change one ?
@faceliftinteriors
@faceliftinteriors 6 ай бұрын
Yes always use a piping foot when attaching piping. Hmm yes you could change it to removable cushions but the frame could possibly be too high . Hope this helps 🙏 ☺️

That was a fabulous tutorial! You basically wrapped up my years of upholstery classes (granted one session per week) in one video!! Cheers. Ps I use my long nose stapler all the time-I don’t feel like changing it out while I am working

I love your videos, I have learned so much and have not started my first project yet. But I will be building a frame and creating a seat and high back that sits into an old wine barrel. This will be for an alehouse setting so I want it to be rustic. I think I should be able to use lots of what I have learned from your videos. I am subscribed! Keep them coming!!

I just came across your channel while I was researching redoing a couch and chair that we inherited. The couch we have it has a pull out bed. Is there a better way to support the cushions other than a thin, barely there folded board? I can't find anyone who has refurbished one.
@faceliftinteriors

Yes you can make a platform lining to go on top of the mechanism. We don't have a video for this but definitely one we will do soon. 😊🙏✂️📎🧵⛏️
