How to clean dry nozzle of Liquid Nails. You will need - utility knife and painters tape. Same way works for Silicone, Sealant, Caulk ...etc.

it sure looked like to me you were going to slice off one of your fingers. I just bought a tube of fuse it liquid nails all surface and first you had to unscrew the muzzle and finally at the end I took my high-powered Black & Decker drill and drilled a hole through the other part... whoever designed these tubes should be tarred and feathered and run out of town

I cannot get the factory seal out of the end of the tube where the nozzle goes! I tried every tool I have, last step I can try is using a drill... who is the bad person that made this plug design!!! I went to open and apply it on a project and the seal is permanent!!!! it is a hard white plastic plug in the end where the nozzle attached to the tube!

Not bad. However to prevent that from happening use foil to tamper-close it after each use and store it in FoodSaver airtight (vacuum) bag. Put it in freezer it would be as good as new. Applicable for caulking, drywall putty and liquid nails.

I wish you had said what you were doing (step by step.) This is my first time ever using a caulking gun and first time using Liquid Nails, and the video alone is unclear to me. I have no idea what you're pulling out of it... I think it may be dried glue. Sorry if I sound like an 'idiot' but I have no clue what it is that you're doing (and I want to make sure I can reuse the Liquid Nails since I used a very small amount), so if you had spoken it would have been really helpful for me. Interestingly, yours is the only video I can find on this topic.

Yes this tube after month cannot be used without properly cleaning. So i show how to remove dry and hardened piece of glue.

If you use liquid nails on 5 diff projects over course of few months....you have to do this minor surgery 5 times lol. At least it does the trick

@@johnc1280 No, that staff i can use without any worry no matter when it was open. One year easily after opening. No expiration date on caulk, liquid nails. Silicone only has expiration, even if not opened.
