To cheese this fight, when you first load into his world, sit at the entrance and shoot them with arrows. You're too far away for them to agro on you so you can easily kill all three

For newer players, if you haven't rung both bells and failed to kick him off the cliff and die, he'll douse the fire, but he won't kill the Fire Keeper, so just go there and kill him to reignite the bonfire.

The estus cut off is linked to the amount you have. If you have 2 you'll get one if you have 3 youll get one if have 4 you'll get 2 it just halves your estus

If u gave her soul up by mistake upgrading your flasks, all u have to do is warp to a different area and come back and you’ll be able to use the black eye orb and you’ll get another firekeeper soul to revive her at firelink

One my first playthrough I didn't ever see Laurtec, then the firekeeper just died. And I thought the Black Eye Orb was an online item (of which I didn't want to try on my first playthrough), so didn't even know you could hunt him down!

The armors you gain from the story here aren't with the hassle for this, unless you're an RP addict with them, and you could always come back in his armor and kill the firekeeper again for the fun of it. I much prefer though, to kick him twice off the ledge at Firelink to get the ring of FaP.

The fight with Lautrec is tough. I’ve found the easiest way is to isolate and parry Lautrec, kinda like how you demonstrate. Great video! I actually have been gimped with the Firelink Shrine out (farming slabs in NLR by running from the bonfire in Undead Parish) and didn’t know how to relight it. Thanks for these helpful videos.

Easiest fight I’ve had. I just poisoned all 3 guys with poison arrows from very far away and waited it out. The main guy had to be poisoned twice. No fuss no muss

A good tip. Go upstairs and shoot with a bow. When they climb up you can slaughter them in few second at the stairs.

He goes to firelink after the gargoyles die whether you let him out or not, but he won’t kill her immediately. He kills the firekeeper after the second bell is rung or after you pick up the firekeeper souls in both undead parish and blighttown, whichever happens first.

what i did, when you spawn you are far, i used an arrow to lure the mage then killed him, then lured other one and killed him, but strangely i wasn't able to use the estus nor can guard, so what i did i poisoned lautrec with throwing knives and ran around until he died, it can be easier with poisoned arrows, but i didn't have any at the time

By phantom I mean when you are in another person’s world through co-op or pvp. It turns your player into a phantom that is white, gold, blue, or red depending on the reason you are in their world. When you fight lautrec you are technically invading his world which is why you turn into a blue phantom. Phantoms of any kind can’t actually use estus and I’m frankly not sure why I have 2 in this video. I assumed it would just give a couple to everyone but other people commented about not being able to heal as well. I really don’t have any idea there. However, all phantoms can use humanity to heal. (The little black and white item you get throughout the game called humanity) if you put that on your item bar and use it the same way you would drink an estus it actually gives a full heal. Use them sparingly though since humanly is sometimes hard to find.

You can kill Lautrec effortlessly by shooting at him from a distance (around where you spawned). I wasted 6 arrows and 6 minutes, but I won on my first try with no damage because all I did was wait around for the most part. Neither he nor his buddies approached me.

No, losing the firelink bonfire is really only a minor inconvenience, it doesn’t ruin your playthrough by any means. You can level up at any bonfire and kindle any of them to get 10 estus. You’re only missing a convenient place to rest. There are plenty of other areas in the game for you to work through for now. You won’t really need to go there again until after anor londo anyways and by that point you can both get the firekeeper soul you need to relight it, and warp between fires.

Only at firelink shrine. You can spend 2 humanities to reverse hollowing and then kindle any bonfire for 5 more estus when you rest at that specific bonfire. Bonfires with a firekeeper like firelink shrine just have +1 kindling by default hence the 10 estus

You have to kill Quelaag(blighttown boss) and then go through Sen's Fortress to get to Anor Londo. Go kill Quelaag, run through sen's as fast as you can. Kill the boss and then you get to anor londo

Yeah it’s a bummer when it happens, but honestly by the time firelink goes out, you’re venturing into entirely new areas anyway, and if you do need to come back, the shortcut to the blacksmith bonfire in undead parish is like a 60 second walk. Seems really bad at first until you realize you hardly actually need to rest there anymore.

German Outlaw yeah the area your in is higher leveled and part of it is gated off till you get the lord vessel. after you ring the 2 bells your meant to go to sens fortress (big ass gate that opened up).

Yup drifter said pretty much everything. Make sure you kill the gargoyles and quelaag, ring the bell right after each one, and go to the place it shows in the cutscene. You’ll have to walk back to firelink from where you are at unfortunately
