I got the exact same project! Mine was actually disposed off at a place that is a temporary stash place for communal workers finding abandoned stuff of all kinds and to a petrol head ofcourse that was the big win. I'm seeing it as a generator build, later combining it with a DC motor on the crankshaft.

How do we know if cdi is ac or DC?

Clear as mud-- no structure, just all over the place. Too bad, was hoping to troubleshoot mine but I just cannot follow this, it's too disjointed. Maybe start at the source of power and go to each component in sequence, explaining them.

You choosing beggars are unreal. You know I don't make money on these videos, right? I explained the components and explained what is and isn't needed. I purposely didn't go into detail with my exact setup because a) I wasn't using original switchgear and b) it can be setup and wired any way you want as long as the basic components are wired up. If you can't figure out what to do from this then you should probably pay somebody else to work on your junk
