I absolutely love your ideas. First, because you are so artistic, I never saw such lovely compositions of succulents, the colors and your arrangements are wonderful. I have not been much on succulents or cactus things but you are certainly helping me reconsider. And Bentley the puppy is a cutie! Thanks!

Love your channel. And now I'm in love with Bentley. What an awesome dog! I recently had to move to an apartment and had to leave the majority of my succulent garden behind, but I have a small collection now of my favorites on my patio. I could watch you rework your plants all day!

I really wish I lived in the US when it comes to succulents! Australia has many gorgeous ones but I'm over in the west of Australia where we have very strict rules for imports, even from other states is not allowed without a licence or permit. Eastern states have so many glorious succulents!!!! It's very expensive when starting out...plants are around 10 dollars each

I hope you get the time to read this (I know you are super busy)...You mentioned your GARDEN OF DEATH. I was wondering what type of soil you have there & if the old damaged plants prefer potting mix over plain old native soil? I have red clay that hardens in the summer months. Do succulents do well in red clay soil? I know, that's 2 question. If you have time, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks from NorCal 7/4/19 Happy 4th of July!.

Laura you are awesome. I learn so much from you. Can I ask how do you treat mealy bugs. I hear treating the affected areas with alcohol is the way to go but wondered if that's your method of treatment or if you do something different?
@LauraEubanks7 жыл бұрын
Ingrid Bolanos alcohol is effective. I'll just treat with a hard spray with the hose for minor infestations and use alcohol or pesticide for heavy ones.
@TheCozyNester7 жыл бұрын
ok. Thank you so much!

Also I love love love your channel. I have done 3 really fun small planter projects and they are amazing. I’m a perfectionist in most things and there is something so lovely about letting all that go in this process and having fun. Thanks for just giving permission to make mistakes. I do think it’s hilarious how a hot mess in your eyes is still a masterpiece in my eyes.
@willajohnson85777 жыл бұрын
Just curious, don't have any to cut was wondering if you plant the root stems that you cut off will they rot or produce babies?
@LauraEubanks7 жыл бұрын
Willa Johnson they might produce. Depends on the plant and the time of year that you cut it. Give it a try and good luck❤

@yazq83457 жыл бұрын
Hi! I re did my succulent bed about over a month ago the way you taught us by removing everything and taking the rosettes and babies and cutting the long leggy stems. I replanted them and yesterday I decided to see if they are rooted and all of them have not. They are just sitting in the soil with no roots:( also they are turning color a bit they are no longer the true colors. What could have happened? Please help! By the way I love your channel!

You mentioned that you don't need to water for a week or so. Is that because the soil you're using is already moist? If you're using soil that's dried out, can you water once after planting, or should you moisten the soil before you plant?
@LauraEubanks5 жыл бұрын
Herb Nomura remember, succulents hole water in their leaves and stems. No need to rush the watering. Less is definitely more.
