Very interesting using a clinch knot with a long tag end to create the dropshot...NICE! I hate using a palomar knot for dropshot hooks. Gonna try this next time out! Thanx for a nice demo.

Was you out by the golfcouse ? Or the back entrance to the lake ,??
@edwardclark3980 Жыл бұрын
The pumps running on that turn out. So you have water flowing out through ghose racks. And that helps a ton.

We dont have those spots further north. all those spots have metal grates covering even with the side walls. i can see why those spots would make great structure for bass and or gills.

Nice drop shot bass. Does the current push your setup around? I was just at the aqueduct in Palmdale and the water movement was strong
@finelinefishing8777 Жыл бұрын
Thanks, Yeah it's pretty strong , that's why I try to cast along the sides , the best thing would be to find areas with lil flow ,which is difficult right now with all this water we got this year. 2 hours before sunset have been best for bass for me ,but idk might have to try the mornings now with this heat coming.
@yajmeneu Жыл бұрын
@@finelinefishing8777 I found that get more hours in the morning since first light is around 5am, get 3-4 hours instead of 2. The bite's about the same, but I'm more relaxed in the morning vs evening where I'm spot searching quicker trying to race daylight.
@finelinefishing8777 Жыл бұрын
@@yajmeneu well said 💯. Plus it's not as hot, I'm headed out tomorrow morning, I don't know where yet. That's the difficult part for me choosing where to fish for the day. Can't wait to try my new reel I just got, Abu Garcia Revo x .🎣

@@finelinefishing8777 nice fish bro... I know it's hard too find good fishing spots curruntly due to all the water that's flowing... Once the water calms down itl get much better... All my normal spots have too much currents and cant catch anything due to the currents.
