Hey Juzzi! Thanks for the comment! I struggled too much with Risen Valstrax since he was released in TU4 and every run i saw, people were always running CSS and blast weapon, but honestly i suck using it. After i saw Tawashi destroy the stupid jet pidgeon with the fish CB i knew i had to learn how to do it. So there is no way i was not going to credit him! Btw, nice videos on the Swax and CB meta!!

I can't remember correctly, but if my memory is correct it would be something like this: Risen kush primordial primordial Risen Shaggy Amatsu Charm - Emboldem 3/ Dereliction 1 (4-1-1) Without augs the build was: Atk boost 7 Crit eye 7 Crit boost 3 Wex 3 Offensive guard 3 Wirebug whisperer 3 Embolden 3 Redirection 2 Intrepid Heart 2 Blood Awakening 2 Evade extender 1 Blood rite 1 Dereliction 1 Coal 1 Bloodlust 1 Burst 1 Wind Mantle 1 Heaven-Sent 1 Frenzeid Bloodllust 1 The augments would useful skills or slots! I remeber I also had guard 2 or 3, powder mantle and 1 more point on Frenzied bloodlust

​@gravedude9896 Both MoH and heaven-sent are viable. I just dont have the augs to use them properly. This build is kinda of a raw damage template to other weapons as well, so there is not much going but basic crit and atk stuff If you're going for heaven-sent 3 you can also use maximum might and drop levels of crit-eye

Mas nos talismãs você pode obter um com DC3 depois de lutar com o Amatsu, liberando o método de fundição “vigor”. Só lembrando que você não vai escolher as skills, esse método vai te dar um talismã completamente aleatório

Hi there! The Layered Armor is the Damascus from the High Rank except for the waist part which is the Guild Palace one. The weapon though it's a mod layered weapon. It's called the Guild Palace Disk Charge Blade, from MHW: Iceborne you can find it easily on Nexus :D

I don't think this strategy works anymore. I've fought Risen Valstrax multiple times, and nothing seems to reset the chest charge, and I have a hell of a time with elemental.

Hey there The strat still works. I've redone my run a month ago to get a better time. but theres something Ive forgot to mention in this video: this strat works best for 271+ anomally investigation or the Special investigation version of the battle. In case you have trouble, you can also check Tawashi channel for the original video from where I got the strat. In any case if you need help feel free check my more recent version of the hunt or ask any question :)

​@@mh_nix Thanks for replying. I didn't know you had, cause KZbin doesn't notify you if somebody replies anymore, which is good but annoying when you WANT to get replied to. As for the strat, I'm nowhere near as good as you or Tawashi, so my Risen Valstrax hunts take 17-20 minutes, which is why I was looking for a strategy to try and make it faster. I was convinced the strat doesn't work cause Valstrax's element hitzones still seem to drop to zero when he roars even if I wallbang him after the short chest charge. This is even before he goes into Risen state. Do you know why that might be happening?

@@affablesage9582 are you switching the elements on the starburst bugs to water? In my run I got the RNG where it was water from the beggining. But try switching it and then wallbang

@@affablesage9582 Change it to water. I only tested with water and fire. Thunderblight will cause a ko which will make him enrage. Never tested it with iceblight
