👍🏼 I wanted to dye a g10 nightshade yellow to red fade. Yellow wasn’t powerful enuff color to do the gray g10. But it dyed the little white ring around the pivot yellow and made the gray kind of olive. Then I did a green fade. Actually very happy the way it turned out.

You inspired me! I bought Rit dye, probably a half a year ago. I kept putting it off because I figured I would screw it up or dye my whole kitchen 🤣. Finally, I just did it, and it turned out great. Not perfect and not exactly what I was going for but I really like it. Unfortunately I was too lazy to get the IN-N-OUT. Might grab some now to celebrate!

I didn’t realize they still came out translucent still that’s cool man. Mine came out super black and not see through, still love the way mine came out. I used gray and went till it was black.

As a fellow Californian, I too love In N Out, now for any haters in the crowd, do we overhype it? Yes a little, but it really is the best fast food burger around and its not even as expensive as Wendy's. Haters please stop comparing it to 5 Guys. They are 2 totally different things and price points. Gotta know your order Dood!? I go with a double double, mustard grilled and animal fries! But yeah, the drive though is a longish wait, but if you consider how many people they move through, they do a good job. The same line at a Jack in the Box would take like 40 or 50 mins haha... anyhow dope vid. Pretty sick color.

Mine has lock stick. Did it just go away by itself through use or did you do something to it? Other than that I love the knife. Only had 2 days, and the lock stick is very annoying. Hard to press the spring too, wish they'd made it a little less tension.

No, you can really only turn a light color darker. So you could make the red into black probably

I just used Rit dye on my new Atoms micarta scales, they came out really good. You need the Synthetic formulas to get the best results but they dont have as many colors, i think you had the All Purpose stuff which does not create as deep of a color.

The "all-purpose" dye doesn't work as well as the "synthetic" on G10 and micarta or anything that's not clothing really.
