⭐️ Roasted peppers are simple and easy to make and taste delicious. You can serve them as a side dish or use them in other recipes.
This video shows you how to make roasted red peppers at home, peel them, and marinate them to make them super tasty.
⭐️ Ingredients
4 bell peppers red or yellow
For the marinade
2 - 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 - 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic crushed
¼ teaspoon salt or more to taste
2 twists black pepper
10 leaves basil or a handful of parsley

In the US we don’t normally peel the skin off.I typically roast them in the oven and finish them on a coal fire grill to trap the smokiness into the flesh. The charring weakens the skin; making it easily edible when minced into dishes.

I roast in the oven with olive oil, garlic and spices and eat it with skin. However, you need to remove the skin for canning. You have to can in water though so I don't know how my canned ones will taste.

What part? In ohio we remove the skins because they taste slightly bitter. I usually remove them if serving guests

Generally you should roast vegetables at around 200°C / 400°F
