ScottHermanFitness thanks for the demo. The only critique is that with the bright white garage door as background it is literally impossible to see your examples of spinal flexion because everything gets washed out.

Nice Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you researched - Millawdon Muscles Mountain Trick (do a google search)? It is a good exclusive guide for learning an effective strength training program to get fast results minus the normal expense. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.

We had a gorilla ( best way to describe him) that used to come into our gym and get topless in the weights area. He was impressive , can't fault him , other than being a total dick. The good thing was that he would clear the weights area in no time as most of the wannabes were so intimidated they ran for the hills.

Scott, I've been looking for back and hamstring exercises that won't cause any more damage to an already damaged back, and this one works great for me. It makes my existing pain go away, so something about it is really working for me. I'm really focusing on the technique and using light weight at the gym and no weight but the same movement at work when I'm on the run. I figure sooner or later I'll add more weight at the gym, when I'm absolutely sure I'm good on the technique. Thanks so much.

1:00 If your back is arched, you're doing an SLDL wrong. You gotta push the weight towards your body to keep it up/down, and you pivot in the middle. If your back arches, you fail. Either the weight is too high, or you form sucks. But yeah, SLDL feels more stable so I do it over RDLs

Looking up puts pressure in the cervical spine which can end up being detrimental. Looking up is a good method to prevent rounding or flexion, but if it can be done with a chin tuck it's optimal.

this exercise was made popular by coach dragomir cioroslan and lifter nicu vlad obviously both are from romania. dragomir had nicu do this to help the middle part of his clean and snatch pull. an iron mind journalists saw them do it after a coaching seminar in the usa. he asked what they were doing, they didnt have a name for it so they decided to call it the romanian deadlift.

scraping your shins/knees is a pretty normal thing, and as far as i know a good thing too, because if you scrape your knees or shins it means that you're keeping the bar closer to your center/core, thereby putting less strain on your spine

I’d appreciate any suggestions!! My right shoulder is 💩 for the past few hrs. You name it, I have it. Torn rotator cuff, torn labrum, bone Spurs, osteoarthritis, fraying of bicep tendon, etc. my ROM Is awful. I’m on my 10th cortisone injection over past few yrs. surgeon said need partial shoulder replacement BUT due to my age, 48.. he doesn’t recommend it. Told me I’d have less ROM after surgery heals. & only lasts 10 yrs.. even though it’s my shoulders that are 💩 it always interferes with any work out I do legs, glutes. I’ve been to physical therapy, chiropractor still going to that I do my wall stretches band stretches are used to be shredded I had the best arms around I can’t even do a 5 pound lateral raise. I would love any suggestions
