Apparently you didn't pass math in school. As there are 60, not 100, seconds in a minute, 1 minute 37 seconds is 1.62 minutes, not 1.37 minutes. 1.37 minutes is 1 minute 22 seconds, roughly.

There is a little trick. Try keeping your hamstrings under tension during a whole set. Don't relax them in starting position (upright) or when moving down. It works. After doing so, I always feel soreness exactly in the hamstrings for the next 2-3 days.

What worked for me is bending the knees till they're in line with your toes when looking from above, keeping a strong arch in the lower back and not creating movement there, not focusing on getting the bar depth but how far i can push my hips out and keeping constant contraction on the hamstrings. I say this out of personal experience and of just a means to help and hope that this advice will assist you when doing this movement.

This is a tough exersise for me because I am extremely flexable. I can almost touch my forehead to my knees with my legs straight before I start to feel any kind of pull in my hamstrings. I found this video and decided to try Romanian deadlifts. After checking this out I think I can do this type of deadlift. Thanks!!!

Try to focus on driving your feet into the floor while simultaneously trying to drag your feet backwards as hard as you can, when you lock out squeeze your glutes, this should help to bring a lot of lower back out of it. Try not to focus on "contracting" the back per say, but just maintaining a straight posture. I had the same problem as you do, and this is how I fixed it.
@GenKaisier11 жыл бұрын
Make sure you actually have a slight bent when you do these first of all and that you're not pushing your hips out too far, just enough so you're able to to guide the bar just below your knees to feel the stretch on your hams then back up again.

Hello. I am nor Brandon nor Hudson, but my advice for you is to do unilateral movements, with the same weight on each side, so you can work each side to it's own and not have the problem of you pushing or pulling with one side better than the other. Another great use (which is same as unilateral) is dumbells, dumbells also make it unilateral in a way that each side pulls or pushes unilateraly. Hope I helped!
