You are never “recovered.” Recovery is a constant ongoing thing. You have to work at it everyday for as long as you remain sober. You don’t just get past an addiction and you’re no longer an addict. You are an addict forever. I didn’t mean for this to sound rude- more educational. I can speak from experience because I am also an addict in recovery have been for the last 4 years. It’s a daily battle and you have to put in the work but it is worth it! But a classic misconception is that one day you’re just cured. That is not true.

when I watched your video about your heroin addiction I was deep in a cocaine addiction. But now I am 6 months clean and your video was definitely a moment I remember being like "wow, I need to sort my shit out".

The scariest thing is cocaine abuse causes a perforated septum which then is known as “coke nose” as your nose starts to collapse in the middle. Yeah, mentally you feel GREAT but the damage it does physically is horrifying. Well done on being clean!! I haven’t done coke since New Years myself 🥳

I struggled with my cocaine addiction for a little over a year, during that time I was doing other drugs as well had been for years. But the time I was doing coke I could notice a drastic change. I loved the feeling of all the substances but coke was by far my favorite. It got to the point where it was the only thing I was going on a daily. Got hooked on it when I was with my abusive ex then i got into a relationship with my daughter’s dad and we were doing it together as well. I thankfully stopped in NOV 2019 when I found out I was pregnant at 21. It was a blessing in disguise because in that moment I told myself “I need to sort my life out” I needed to get away from the substances and the people that came with them. I definitely noticed the “coke nose” and other harmful effects of it. Withdrawaling was AWFUL but I stuck it out for my kid. I’m proud of myself for sticking it out and not getting back on anything it was one of the hardest things to do but who knows where I’d be if I kept going on down the road I had been since I was 15. Congratulations on y’all’s sobriety all the hard work and rough days are worth it in the end. Life is more than just drugs 🎉💕

As a long time viewer I would just like to say that you owe me nothing. I know that such a large number of followers and subscribers seems like so much pressure, but as one of that 2 million I just wanna say that you never have to justify why you aren’t uploading. You are so vulnerable and real with your life struggles and I think it’s amazing that you took a step back when you needed it and I’m so sorry you feel alone during that time. yeah that is true, i loved watching her as well although i do have to say that i became a bit critical when i found out she is an addict, additionally i do think that this is where her abusers/haters come from, they probably think that an addict or a girl that is emotionally unstable and with this specific look is unable in her taking care of all these animals properly. I think that it maybe helps her to know that her haters probably also love animals and that they send the services out of precaution. And if they dont they are just straight on pshychos. Whatever their reasons are, i think that if you are dealing with addiction and emotional instability where it seems like you are struggeling with everyday life you are putting yourself out there to kinda have to deal with those people thinking that you cant deal with that many animals, it sucks but their perspective is not completely stupid. Not to defend them but it always makes me feel better to understand where people are coming from, i absolutely disagree that they made your life such a hell, but maybe its wise to not film these aspects about yourself just to protect yourself from them, or atleast to soften them out on film. I get that you want to be real too and i really love that about you and i really love the real raw stories, but animal care and raw stories of emotional/mental instability and addiction kinda dont go hand in hand because the majority is in fact unable to do that, and for youtube content i think that you will have to pick one out of the 2. And maybe just state that you dont hold any animals anymore, just so that you can keep them and that you can still share your stories and keep doing youtube. Anyways these are just ideas that you can pick or adjust and i hope one of them will help you out. Seriously i really do, and keep in mind that you are a sensitive person and you will have to surround yourself with likeminded people, others that overpower your sensitivity will crush you so stay away from them, that is what an old woman gave me as advice and it really helped me guide. I never turn to people that find themselves soo funny, charming people or narcissicst anymore and my life is a 10000x better now :) and looking back now: they are really not that great as they make themselves look, now they are just a walking commercial to me really

As a recovering addict with a life and story similar to Taylor’s, I know first hand that when you’re in that place almost all people literally become *physically AND mentally unable* to take care of themselves, never mind others. The fact that you were even able to give your *animals* the basic care, let alone very specific exotic pet care is a testament to your character, regardless of trivial debatable pet care mistakes that SOO many people make. Yea it’s amazing. When I was in my addiction I had a babygirl pit & she was just the sweetest dog. I ended up having to put her down when she was 2 due to health issues that she was born w. I still hate myself sometimes just knowing I missed all that time w her. It was all I could do to barely care for her adequately. Yes I fed her & all but she didn’t get the attention she deserved as a puppy. I can’t imagine caring for multiple animals like she did during that time. I mean it’s all we can do to shower every few days when you’re strung out much less care for animals like they deserve.

Sadly this is much more common with “internet” famous people. There are large twitch streamers, like XQC, who was being swatted constantly - like almost daily - to the point it caused him horrible anxiety and nightmares and eventually moved in with friends before finding a new house to try to keep his privacy and peace of mind. Her fans who want to "help" her tracked down all her friends and abused them and told them they were enabling so that she is now completely isolated. They have threatened her extended family so they are afraid to talk to her. If she even mentions talking to anyone that person gets abused for being friends with her instead of grabbing her and forcing her to "get help" (which would be illegal). As a result her eating disorder is getting worse because she has no coping mechanisms, everything gets taken away from her by "fans". How is someone supposed to recover if you do everything you can to isolate them and destroy their hobbies?

Just because she was going through a rough time it clearly doesn’t reflect how she treated her animals, it’s not enabling someone if they aren’t doing anything wrong. Taylor takes care of her animals, people making calls and harassing her is horrible. You don’t know her life or the conditions, neither do I. We have no right to judge her. What gets me the most and has bothered me this whole time is that people were hating on her claiming they believed her animals were being abused or neglected, mainly because of her mental health and the addiction situation. Then when she finally acknowledged it and starts making steps to heal (which would in turn also have great benefits for her animals) they stopped her from getting better any way they could. They never cared about the health of her animals. They only hated her and wanted to see her miserable. Taylor, you are still so young. You've made mistakes but you've also learned so much. I'm glad to see you finally feeling comfortable with yourself again and even though I don't know you and you don't know me I'm proud of you for accomplishing what you have so far. Exactly this. Also, she had an assistant helping with their care?? If all she could do was take care of them and do drugs and sleep, it always seemed like she still prioritized her animals. It wasn’t the best situation, but the amount of hate she got is insane. There are so many more people in the world who own animals and have no idea what to do with them, and stalking Taylor doesn’t do anything for those animals. It doesn’t do anything but risk her relapsing or dying.

Taylor, when I was younger and was introduced to you, you made me look up to you as a sister. My parents aren't pet lovers yet I was always interested in those "creepy animals" that you've shown, even begged on my knees to my parents to buy me a snake because of how cute toast is. This is my Valentines to you for being someone to look up too(also bc you are a beautiful human being). Even growing up seeing cheese made my day. While growing up I was going threw depression for the fact of not accepting my sexual orientation or myself completely for that matter, I owe it all to cheese and toast for giving me serotonin. Hearing you and knowing you are healing and making process inspires me to also keep going. As well as hearing you in 2019 when I had my depression made me understand to also heal and throw the negativity to continue with my life also made me do therapy to cure those deep wounds. I hope you are also making huge process in healing as it did to me though our situations though are situations are very different we have one thing in common and that is to heal. For you to know, I've began running in a track team again, and built up my relationship with my parents as now I can trust them with anything. "the growing was ugly" wow, I've never heard something that described my struggles with disordered eating, abuse, ptsd, anxiety, and depression. I thought when I got out of my abusive situation I would grow and flourish and shine and be great. I though I would be all smiles and sunshine. That's not what it was like at all. I'd argue it was harder went I gout out. The growth is truly gross, and ugly, and HARD! Thank you, for putting words to the struggle. You think recovery will be like coming out of a cocoon as a butterfly. But people forget, that for a butterfly to form, it has to dissolve to a gross mush of liquid inside the cocoon :) lol

I just had this realization while trying to meditate in therapy, and wound up just abject sobbing and bawling. I thought if I just didn’t look at my injuries they’d heal over time, but the truth was I had to be present for the healing as much as I was for the trauma, and it’s ugly and hard. I don’t like being in my head and body, I don’t like being HERE, and the process of actually building myself back up and processing is so much harder than I ever realized. It’s not beautiful or poetic or deep or inspirational or fun to be around. It’s a slog.
