Curious what my brothers Ecoboost makes, his mods are MBRP catback, charge pipes hot and cold side, TS IWG w/7lb spring, TS BOV, NGK step colder plugs, K&N drop in and 93 Brenspeed tune. He pulled a Scatpack the other day up until around 120.

Adam’s website just says to mix the E30(based on the ethanol blend calculator), drive for 10-15 miles, then flash the tune.

I wouldn’t run anything over E10 without the tune flashed.. not enough injector run the risk of running way to lean. Easier to run the car to 0-10 miles and fill with E30 with test tube testing and E blend calculator.. must test ethanol content at the pump or your math with be off. Most stations E40-E70 tops. For pure E85-E95 have to buy the race 5 gallon jugs like me, I run E85r race fuel tests E95 its 117 octane! Way more powerful than pump E85 even if it tested at the same rating of E95 which is impossible with gas station blend but not tit for tat octane rating ha ❤

Some people don't want an extra 400# on the nose of their car. A 500 HP Eco is a damned fun car and not difficult to put together. A 500 HP Eco kicks the shit out of a stock GT.

I have a question if anyone can answer, I bought my 2017 mustang ecoboost that is kinda far from stock, it has a mishimoto pipe kit, LT cold air intake, intercooler, mbrp exhaust, but the dealership forget to mention the car did have a tune installed, they said they "think" it had a cobb tune, I been running on 93 and I don't know if the injectors have been upgraded yet or if the fuel pump has been replaced, the car only has 73000 miles on it but I notice that when i drive I get a really strong exhaust smell and if I floor it on the highway, I've been told that sometimes black smoke shoots out from the exhaust, its not like a cloud of smoke but its enough to be noticed, I took it back to the dealership and they said nothing is wrong in terms of the engine or transmission and no exhaust leak or misfire, so my question is because of all the mods done to the car, should I run it on E85? I was told I should do that bc thats the fuel that's needed, I just want peoples thoughts before I do it
