Got my second Zealot s battery but can't find room to stuff the xt60 parallel splitter on the original battery cubby hole. Am I doing it wrong? I was planning to connect to battery on top outside the batter box as you did here.
@onel0wcubn2 жыл бұрын
Just have to take your time and try to organize all those cables as best you can. It's a very tight fit, but it fits depending on the size of your splitter cable. I also used a dremel to make a small hole for the cable to come out of then used some rubber sealant to keep it water tight.

I currently have a backfire zealot and while it performs really well, I do find that the 96mm wheels are lacking when it comes to certain trails. I want to add 105mm cloud wheels but I know that this will limit the range. In order to counteract this, I want to add a second 311 backfire zealot battery. I have a question. Can you charge both batteries at once?

Not if you always keep them plugged to one another, it will be like a parallel connection.

Feltric Garmond it’s perfectly fine. I’ve run batteries in parallel like this for years. Thousands of miles.
@saturos76724 жыл бұрын
You should tell the people that this is not safe.. running different batterys with different capacity in parralel may damage them. If you connect them when they dont have the EXACT same voltage (like for example one is full and one only half) then one destroys the other one and it might start a fire
@jonathanknight41074 жыл бұрын
I actually do this with my rc cars. Long as the batteries are the same it don't matter if with is full or not nothing is going to happen. I have 10 years with rc cars building and wiring.
