I used SanDisk Cruzer Blade 16GB and this method went perfect 100%. After installing Windows 10, I still have 7GB free memory on this USB flash drive.

How come this method uses so much less space than installing directly on HDD or SSD? I don't understand. It usually takes up about 30 GB of storage on my laptop or desktop PC once I've finished setting up all the drivers. 🤔

Very helpful, Sir 1 question, in 2nd method you could have connected ssd to laptop via the external sata cable u hv, while the hdd is inside and used the same 1st method software to create live ssd.

yes it can just format it as FAT32 and not NTFS

Hey good video, I was looking for that because I wanted to install windows 10 on the usb, Thanks !, hey, I have a toshiba satellite c850 laptop which had an intel celeron b830 cpu, I decided to upgrade because it was a 2-core CPU at 1.80 ghz with intel HD graphics, which I bought a processor from an online store, specifically an intel core i3 3120M with 4 cores and intel HD graphics 4000, the problem is that I think the laptop has a bios lock or something, and every 30 minutes the computer is shut down by force. I tried another processor, exactly an intel core i3 2350M with 4 cores and intel HD graphics 3000, and the same thing happens, and with the factory processor does not turn off or anything, it is not a problem of the ram, or the disks. Could you explain me why exactly at 30 minutes it goes off ,? It is not problem of temperatures, because they are very stable and the heatsink has new thermal paste. I have searched for more than 4 months and I have not found anything ... Could you help me? ☹️

If it’s a model from before 2007, you can enter the BIOS tapping F10 after turning it on, models after 2007, you have to tap ESC after switching it on and afterwards tap F10 in the menu selection to go to the BIOS settings. Cheers.

This is great if you want to have a portable version of your windows account and for very light programs but if you want to play games or something harder to run I don't recommend

No, you won’t loose anything but don’t pull up the USB while windows is running; should shutdown it first.

@@cerenkocer1518 if you are working on Macos and the usb is plugged in, just eject the usb as normal( right click on usb drive and select eject). But if you were working on Windows, you must shutdown the Windows then pull the usb out.

dont try with 2.0 usb it take really very much longer. i had tried bcoz i dont want to purchase another pendrive. i have 8gb pendrive 3.0 but now i am unable to install windows on my new ssd. every time i see new type of error. when i fix. before that. i have flashed. 3 laptop and 2 pc with that file . and that successfully done. but now for me. ahhhh. so trying to live windows to and i will clone it.

It will be too slow if you run normal Windows 10, you have to put Windows into a ramdisk (boot.wim) and do some workarounds to make it an offline system Also if you use DVD-R (the worst DVD integration ever) and it is only 4.7GB, Windows 10 will not be burned because of not enough drive space, you need at least a DVD+R DL (8GB) or DVD-RAM (9GB) or BD-RE (25GB)
