It was really difficult to pull the needle through the bunched up cotton yarn. Almost impossible. Any tips? Yours looked easy.

Try next time to cut the plies in a step down way to get a smoother burial of the ends.

Will it stay over a long period of time, like washing and drying? I don't normally wash and dry anyway, I take mine and have them dry cleaned

You say that this probably won't work with bamboo yarn..the same for pure silk, too?

I haven't tried it with pure silk, but I don't think it will work. It might be worth a try though.

Not well, in my opinion. I'm actually working with a bamboo/polyester blend yarn right now. Beautiful yarn, but it's really slick, untwists easily and the ends can't be tapered/feathered nicely. I could not get decent results. Of course, you can give it a try and see how things work for you. It's possible you'll have better luck. Happy knitting.
