How To: Safely Jack Up The MR2 Spyder

also; "your jack will always be centered" is misleading. You should always turn the wheels of the jack just before it's fully loaded to the orientation that the jack will start to travel IN ORDER to stay centered. many novice "mechanics" total things when they let those pivoting wheels remain misaligned as the jack raises the vehicle and the resistance of the jack's crooked wheels being planted into a crevice or simply perpendicular enough to it's travel path so as to be able to stop the jack from rolling forward WILL start to slide the foot of the jack off the frame as it lifts the car and then you end up slamming down the weight of the car into something you really didn't want to with a raised jack.

Before you raise the front of the car, make sure to chock the rear wheels. And once the car is on all four jack stands, give the car a good shake! Better to fall now rather than with you underneath it!

Awesome videos man! Looking forward to seeing more. When I jacked up the rear of my car, it did not jack up evenly on both sides. One side was a CM or two higher than the other. Was this your experience as well? Thanks and keep up the awesome work!

One had a stock supercharger option, one had a stock turbo charger option, and the third generation (this one) which was the best handling, lightest, and convertible.
