Not being funny but once plastering has been done your walls should be perfect if done by a competent plasterer .I have never plastered/Skimmed a wall and had to apply easy fill or sand it down after I would be embarrassed 😂 This machine is more suited for sanding smooth tape and joint easy fill applications in my humble opinion..

U are right But.. if u dont have money for a plasterer and u do it for ur self sander is a cheaper option to get a god result.. also in old houses the old plasterboard never in level.. so u alwaise gonna leave marks on the wall.. so u need to send it anyway..

What did you do with corners etc with the tool being round would t get in inside corners etc

This won't work on the corners so sadly will need a mouse sander or something for that

Is it necessary to use a vacuum? Rather can a dust bag be added at the end?

Best to use vacuum attachment as it will collect majority of dust than a dust bag

Careful as the dust will clog ur vacuum cleaner

You really shouldn't use a regular (especially cyclone / Dyson) vacuum with plaster / construction dust as it wil clog it up. The vacuum attachment is meant for something like a shop-vacuum, which are built in a way where the stuff you are vacuuming up won't end up in the suction mechanism (which is why a lot of shop-vacs can be used to suck up water too).

I used 80, do not apply much pressure let the machine do the job

Don't use 80 grit on fresh skim, use 240, 80 is for old skim and rough bad surfaces. High grit for nicely quite smooth walls already, it just gives a polish, low grit for bad surfaces that need a real good sanding.

I’m refurbishing a house (my house) I’m not the best plasterer but have done work for other people in the passed, which they seemed happy with. Will this sander sand down high areas where I have bonded out, when I mean high areas I mean like 15mm high.

Does it still work ? I didnt really like the sound of it when you turned it on, heard etter sound on cheap products like on a Parkside i do work with on some ocasions. They cheap if i can do 2-3 jobs with them they did the money they worth.
