Maybe it's not a deficiency in the relationship but a deficiency with the cheater... because even when I've been missing something in my relationships I've never cheated. I'd end a relationship before ever going there.
@jonnym46703 жыл бұрын
Yea its always best to end it before cheating And if you do cheat come clean rather then waste the other persons time the longer you wait and trick them into thinking your something your not or at least your relationship is not the something they thought it was will hurt them more there was a couple that was married for 50 years when he found out she cheated once during there first year of marriage he wanted a divorce and i didnt blame she stole 40 years of his life with a lie You never truly loved someone if you can forgive yourself if you ever cheat on them

Nikki doesn’t seem to have much experience with sales people here. Everything she said that this lady was doing - Carmen actually seem to recognize on a few occasions - is *exactly* what a very aggressive sales person would do. I think if you substitute someone trying to sell Nikki a vacuum cleaner, really really aggressively, you would see this does not have to do with the “patriarchy” or how it’s bad for women or anything like that, *at least based on this example* . As Carmen tried to point out, this lady just kept making him seem like… she would tailor make everything, every response that Nikki came up with, every negative that Nikki was trying to point out, she would try to turn it into a positive. Oh you don’t like high class stuff? He’s “down key”. The thing at the end about making it seem like she was robbing the cradle even though her last boyfriend was 3 years _older_ than her, *exactly* fits into this. Even if you already have a perfectly good vacuum cleaner, the sales person is going to try and point out all of the flaws with it, because…? They are trying to sell you a new one! Thankfully this was a female matchmaker, so that one variable can be removed, and looked at as much more of a purely business transaction, someone trying to make money, someone trying to make a sale.

"man oriented world". Men get money cause women like men with money. Men get nice cars cause women like men with nice cars. Men buy jewelry cause women like jewelry. They have ladies nite at clubs not fellas nite.
@sevothtartesama183 жыл бұрын
@@Malikk5251 No hun. You get paid more because of patriarchy. Then you use that money to lure in women who have less options to be financially as well off as men in this world. Oh, and ladies night? Booboo, bars do ladies night so that they can get women IN the bar so that men want to go there on nights when they know there will be a lot of options. Cheaper drinks for the gender that has less financial freedom, creating a meat market for men. Get over your privilege and open your eyes. Or, don’t. I don’t care. It just means that if you don’t you will end up with someone that you will never really know cause she is not being herself.
@smotretvseru3 жыл бұрын
@@sevothtartesama18 Men don`t get paid more. That`s a myth. Men work more hours and take more dangerous jobs. For the exact same job per hour men in general make only 2-5% more depending on industry, mostly because women don`t ask for a rase as aggressively as men(and many other reasons). BUT - under the age of 30 in 1-st world countries women already making more than men for the same job. And that is the most relevant age for dating. So maybe you will open your eyes, it`s not 1950 anymore. Or don`t. I don`t care.

The reason there are so few women and blacks nominated for Oscars is that the studios don't want to spend the massive amounts of money needed to get them the nominations. If you want to put that down to racism and sexism I guess you could. The hypocrisy of 'woke' Hollywood is endless. Anyone who thinks that Oscar nominations are decided on merit is a fool. It's 100% about money. Just read the book 'The Men Who Would Be King' about the formation of Dreamworks to get a mind-blowing insight into the process of securing awards.

A female matchmaker is being unbearable and you blame the patriarchy.. jesus. Maybe blame the matchmaker, she did everything wrong. What exactly did the man do wrong? He went to a matchmaker, she asked him what hes looking for, he mentions (probably among others) Nikki Glaser, the matchmaker tries to get her and lies through her teeth / doesn't do any background checking or anything, and you blame the guy and the patriarchy. In a real patriarchy you wouldn't have the option to say no. Nothing in this is wrong and bad except the matchmaker.
@flinx4 жыл бұрын
The matchmaker wouldn't think the way she thinks if she hadn't been influenced by the patriarchy. Not everyone agrees with patriarchal ideas of what is normal, but there's still significant influence.
@llssneN4 жыл бұрын
In other words she doesn't have to take responsibility for her own actions, she is not in control of her own actions and thoughts, she can just blame the patriarchy. How very convenient. Actually both of these women are successful independent women making their own free choices, one of them let the other down, that's what happened here. You know there's actual patriarchy for example in the middle east, by falsely calling this here patriarchy hurts actual victims of it out there.
@flinx4 жыл бұрын
llssneN you know there's degrees of patriarchy, for example a few middle eastern countries where the patriarchy is maximum strength. Then there's other countries with varying degrees less of it. The matchmaker won't think she's thinking anything wrong. She's been influenced and allowed herself to be influenced by the patriarchy more than Nikki.

Dang Nik - I discovered you about a year ago and have loved almost every thing you do and say in your content. Listen, I am a nobody to you - just a fan - but this wasn’t nice. I’m 49 and have never thought of 52 as elderly. Also, he sounds like a putz, but he’s surely not scraps. This podcast felt very anti-men. You aren’t a cheerleader for the feminist movement and that’s part of your charm. This was in the opposite direction.

I will never, ever understand the media obsession with Jennifer Aniston. Her looks, personality and career is a generous 7, but according to the tabloids she has been pregnant roughly four hundred times, and engaged to marry at least twice that number. Is it all STILL about her being dumped by Brad Pitt? Did that shake the foundations of the earth so much that they're still slobbering her every move some twenty years later?
