Thx Angela for watching and sharing your thoughts! Your are right - its important, yet sometimes really hard, to be in charge when you are at your most vulnerable - that's why a simple easy-to-remember approach, like the T.E.A.M Approach I hope will help people along the way :)

Hi Claire, thank you so much for an incredibly passionate and valuable TEDx-Talk. Your story is riveting and inspirational and delivers a powerful life-saving message that is empowering. Everyone needs to watch and learn how to advocate for their health and communicate with their health care team. I'm going to share with the members of my prostate cancer support groups.

Thanks so much for watching and commenting. It's so important for us to be our body's own advocate - but no easy task! Which is why I developed the T.E.A.M Approach to help me remember the key things to do :) Glad it helps and thank you for sharing it with your community. Take care.

Claire - I took your message to my extended family. As we care for aging parents, the team approach is bringing peace of mind for the entire family. Most can't believe that medical error is a common cause of death. Your story illustrates how it is possible, and HOW we can work together to reduce mistakes. Thank YOU!

Thanks Renee for sharing the message of putting your health in your own hands and how a T.E.A.M Approach can help do this! I am glad it resonated with you and hoping it can help others, as you said from younger families to aging parents. We often take our health for granted. It's the one thing we need to try and be proactive about :)

This is so interesting, yet scary that our lives are at risk with the ones we expect to take care of us. Great information and a profound story.
@clairesnyman8956 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Marlon. The reality is that health care systems all over the world are complicated and complex and mistakes can happen - we are only human after all. So, we need to find an approach that works for us as patients & care partners to help us put our health in our own hands and partner with our health care teams to help prevent these mistakes. This is where I hope the T.E.A.M. Approach can help out!
