I started putting 2 layers of clear polish on, and letting it dry before putting on press ons. When I took off my last set- after filing off the glue- my nails looked like I've never worn press ons.

thanks for the in depth tips! The alcohol pad removes the left over oils on your nails the best. Acetone (even almost pure) will leave a film on your nails that will affect the wear time on your press ons. But you can make your own alcohol pad with 91% rubbing alcohol and paper towels. This step is especially important for gel polish application and nail stickers. Have you tried nail stickers? thoughts?

I use the impress nails all the time. When I remove mine (usually after a shower), I dip a q-tip in my nail polish remover and drip a few drops of it between my nail and the press on right at the cuticle (typically where it loosens for me). After I’ve done that to all ten nails, the glue is pretty much dissolved and the nails fall right off.

Amazon also has some great nails in a bunch of different lengths and shapes that you can actually paint! They're less than $5 for over 100, so definitely a deal. But, I've gotten so used to how easy nails with the glue already on them are to apply!

I soak them off with acetone. They sell it now at all my dollar trees. I pour the used acetone back in the bottle and reuse it. My big cheater is using a glass jar that has ridges and rubbing my nails while soaking. Great tips great video!

Thanks for the tips girl. I actually need to get them gloves for when I do gel polish. I don't know if it's a myth or not with the whole uv light damaging your hands lol

I use a dehydrator instead of the alcohol pad. It makes a huge difference how lo g my impress nails stay on. Put therm on at bedtime so you are not putting them in water and they will last a while. My mom can wear hers two weeks or better and she is rough on them. Me I get about a week to two weeks but I have to be more gentle.

The only tip I really have for fake lashes is to go magnetic LOL! I really dislike traditional lashes/glue because it takes so long for them to dry "just the right amount", then placing them perfectly, then getting them to stick in the inner corner. I have no time or patience for that! I use the Ardell magnetic accent lashes, and they're SO much easier to apply than full-strip magnetic lashes. Also...I just ordered something a little different that's supposed to mimic lashes extensions, and last a week...but you do them yourself. So, we'll see how those turn out 😬
