Actually I demonstrated this with fabric inks for ease and simplicity. You could print this on dark shirts as it is a light gray. Or you could use a white ink but it’s the exact same principle. I am glad I checked this out before going to the store. Started screen printing a few months ago to save money for my husbands band. couldn't get a new screen for my 2nd run of shirts, last min big show, need shirts and I reclaimed my first one too many times learning the don'ts :). I fashioned a DIY out of old curtains, works alright, could b tighter though. The emulsion drying time kills me when short of time (and I am!). I had 2 different ones I wanted, now I can do 'em tonight. Thanks

Yes, you can print just about anything with the right inks. You’ll need to contact an ink maker and tell them specifically what the material is you want to print on. They will suggest the proper ink that will bond to your substrate. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

I think you are talking about four color process or “CMYK.” That can be difficult to do when first starting out and manual printing makes it even more challenging. You’re welcome. As for the first question laying down a thick ink layer at once and trying to cure it will be more difficult than using the hit flash hit method. The hit flash hit method would produce a better looking high density print using a screen with an emulsion stencil. It would have sharper edges and be able to be cure thoroughly. You should do a video on screenprinting with vinyl stencils. Some people use vinyl on the screens which are cut with a plotter, and screen print onto shirts with that instead of emulsion. And since you have an auto now, you can tried to print with a vinyl stencil manually, and try it on your auto as well. Would love to see that.

I do not own the M&R press in the few videos I did with it. That was a friend of mine. But I do have access to automatic equipment but not for video making purposes. I would do a vinyl stencil video but I do not do anything with vinyl and I do not have a plotter for that. I may get one just to do some Catspit stickers and such in the future. But a vinyl stencil would not fair well on an automatic press I think. Far too much pressure and stencil wear. Thanks for watching. You're very welcome. Most paper stencils can only be applied to the screen once. An iron will not cure plastisol inks but it will work for some water based inks. You can iron the ink with a Teflon sheet or piece of craft paper between the iron and the ink. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

You’ll need inks, a screen, a squeegee, a way to print perhaps hinge clamps or you could wing it on a table top. I would try to use water based inks for lower costs but they’re harder to print with.
