I looked all over the internet for information on how to finish wood and preserve the original sanded color. Maggie, you are the best, and the most helpful! Thanks.

Great video. I built a picnic table and now am looking to stain it but don’t want it to become dark so I’m on KZbin for some inspiration. Lol. And of course after staining I’ll need to seal it. I just didn’t know how where to start with so many options.

Thank you for doing this so I would not have to!! I sanded ALL the dark wood trim in my house and I love the sandy pale yellow it's at right now but I'm struggling to find a top coat that won't change it!

Thanks for this video! Im curious how these finishes would hold up. So much conflicting information online.
@MaggieMcGaugh2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't use it for anything outdoors, but it's held up on my dining table. I will say that even with 3 coats, I still get water rings on my dining table. However, I'd prefer to be careful with cups that have yellow wood!

Hey. I loved your video. Would you use your winner to protect color and seal a driftwood art for outdoor use?

You're going to be SO embarrassed when pictures of you wearing those "mom Jeans" with Ellie Mae rope. surface in the future. You can count on that. lol. I appreciate the video, in all seriousness.

Uhhh.... So... You lined up all the cans in front of other things? I'm confused. Why would you put the one you pick and put it in front of a line of a different. So. You picked the one on the right? Or the middle one? But it doesn't have a can? Were any of those products lined up in front of what you actually put on the wood. Or did you make rows of product then mismatch the cans behind it? Wtf.... This is like the opposite of helpful. I'm just more confused now.

Hope you’re okay over there, Zach! Not sure where you got confused. Everything is lined up right behind the streaks on the wood. General finishes was the winner as I showed. I moved the winning can at the end, but everything else is still lined up. Hope this helps!
