Follow the below steps before using a clay pot.
1.clean the pot with hot or cold water.
2.Soak the pot filling water for overnight.
3.Drain out the water after 12 to 18 hours ,then sun dry it.
4.Once it's dried apply generous amount of oil inside and outside of the pot.Cooking oil or coconut can be used.
5.You will notice the oil will be absorbed completely.
6.Then fill rice water and let it sit overnight.
7.Clean with baking powder or rice flour instead of soap or detergent.Clean it gently.
8.Fill water and add lemon slice and turmeric powder. Bring it to boil.
9.Clean it .
It's ready to use.
