Getting someone to edit your book is the best bet, but good editors cost a lot of money. I'm on a tight budget, and my budget is zero. It's hard for me to justify that expense when I may never recoup the loss. So, I've done everything myself.

I've been "thinking" about self-publishing a book for years now. I have a blog site in the music ministry niche, where I've already written lots of articles that seemed to really resonate with people. But as most blog writers do, I eventually hit the wall and came to a point where I felt like I'd said everything had to say. The blog is now just a place for hackers to practice (don't go with Wordpress), and I'm no longer actively posting. My goals is to take all the best pieces I've written and compile them into a book, with additional content and thoughts. Like I said, I've been doing a lot of "thinking" about this but now much doing. Just a few days ago I decided I should really get serious about getting started on this thing, and that's when I saw your other video on the low-content books. What's that saying" "When the student is ready the teacher will appear? (or something like that)? I started watching your content and was really amazed at how much detail you present. These aren't mile-high overview videos you're doing; especially those low-content videos! So thanks for the great job you're doing on this channel. I've seen many like it but very few go into as much detail as you do. There aren't many excuses left not to get started now! Especially since I already have a following in the niche who are basically waiting for me to release the thing so they can go support it. Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for this video. It was very informative and one way I was looking for publishing my book. It's been 2 years already since I wrote my first childrens book but the expenses were too hight to finish the self publishing and unfotunatelly I was unable to get anough donations to make it done... Print od demand book publishing is just what I need 🤗 All though first we need to finish ilustrations... Is there a way of knowing what the paper will be like? For example, if you do a children's book with full-colour pages, you may prefer a gloss print. Whereas if you're making a colouring book, you would want paper that can be coloured on.

Ask them for samples that are similar to the kind of artwork you were looking for. For example, if you’re doing a kid's book with animals, ask them to show you their previous work of animals drawn out, and you can see their style
