0 seconds ago Your locs are beautiful. Thank you for walking us through the 4-pt rotation process. It looks easier than I thought it would. I'm only 4 months into my SL journey, but I will definitely be maintaining my own reties within the next 6 months as my locs develop.

TFS! I'm 8 months into my microlocs journey and while I have a loctician for my maintenance... it's always good to know how to do if need be. Great clear explanation/demonstration.

My consultant uses a reverse 4 pattern on my hair. You are the first person I've encountered online that uses it as well 😊. I'm curious as to how we stop with the counterclockwise rotation because our last step is South to North. With the regular 4 point rotation their last is North to South, which they say allows the locs to hang "properly." My consultant can't speak on it because of the patent/intellectual property right issue. Do you just end North to South when you feel that you're close to your scalp?
@JOSETTEBIANCA4 жыл бұрын
You have to play around with the starting point, I usually start at East to West and try to end North to South, although sometimes I end West to East. But I make sure not to end on South to North.

Hi. Did you leave some of your ends loose or did you interlock all the way to the ends during the establishment? Thank you. Our length is the same so i will be following you closely. ❤

Hi Josette! Beautiful hair! Is there a reason that you prefer the 4 point over the others? I'm thinking about also doing the 4 point but like to know reasons why others choose it 🙂.
@JOSETTEBIANCA2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thank you! I really like how compact the 4 point rotation makes my locs. I don’t like the fluffy look that you would get from a 2 or 3 point rotation. I like when my locs look compact and cylindrical. Hope this helps!
