😭😭😭I just want to share my bad experience with Aliexpress and why you must not use Aliexpress. I’m a drop shipper since 2019. I have so many problems with Aliexpress. Too often, sellers send the wrong items, give me bad tracking information, send very low-quality products, or never ship my items at all. My favorite AliExpress moment was spending $10 for US shipping on 25 different orders for a seller who claimed to have a warehouse in the US, only to have my orders shipped from China in 6 weeks. AliExpress cannot be trusted! So, I switched to Zendrop. Since then, I haven’t received any customer complaints relating to missing or damaged packages. Each order arrives on time within 5 to 7 business days with the express USA shipping option. If you’re dropshipping using Shopify, you no longer need the Oberlo app to import products from AliExpress into your store. Zendrop is the top alternative to AliExpress, and here are a few more reasons: SIMPLE - Everything you need is located on the Zendrop dashboard, and using their one-click technology allows all tasks to be done in an instant EASY IMPORT - Only reliable suppliers with high-quality products and fast shipping times make it to the Zendrop dashboard. The platform makes it easy to browse through product categories using different filters to find products you sell with a button click. You can learn more about using their tools for product research from this previous post. REAL-TIME ANALYTICS - Zendrop syncs with your Shopify store, allowing you to see essential data like revenue, product costs, advertising budget, and more straight on the dashboard Besides, it’s free. So, if you’re interested in safe and legit. I recommend Zendrop If you want to learn more about Zendrop, click here: www.zendroptrk.com/G5M2WR/2CTPL/?uid=2

Just wanted to mention that anyone using a P.O.S that doesn’t use a UPC will miss out on those sales counting towards credible metrics for things like Billboard* positions, album awards like gold or platinum records etc. It’s cool if that stuff doesn’t matter to you, but if it does then try and do your homework on what you’re going for before choosing any platforms to upload your music to. Currently thinking about getting back in the beat leasing business, I have some decisions to make. It seems like a no brainer.....I just don't know.
@IAMLXGEND3 жыл бұрын
That’s their problem. The thing about leasing is this is the entire reason a lease license exists. So you can sell the beat over and over again. They should know what their rights are as a lease holder whether that’s by written contract or agreement on the product page. When I lease my beats I say promotional use only. So anything that doesn’t earn them income. If I were to discover any artist using the beat on social and making money from ads or on Spotify or streaming services I would issue a cease and desist or have some sort of content ID claim system do it for me. So people don’t rip you off. And then if they discover other artists use the same beat as them for their own songs that’s just a part of leasing. They should know that going into the lease. Until someone buys the exclusive contract, it can be leased until you decide not to do that.

I was told by the developers that certain Shopify templates are optimized better for the app. They are working to fix it to be more universal, I remember the one I selected actually was not compatible so I reached out and was told they would make it so that it works across the board. Shopify doesn’t serve anyone. It’s just a website hosting platform with apps to make whatever kind of site you want. The only person serving buyers is you. I'd hate to sign up for Spotify and then this plan, upload a song with 10 stems, only to find out I only have 140 "tracks" left. As opposed to 1 song w/ 10 stems and 149 songs remaining. Thx in advance for your time!

@@IAMLXGEND i get that part but for exampl, royalty free music libraries like pond 5 and audio jungle wont accept instrumentals/music thats already registered in the content id system. which makes sense bc if your beat is registered with content id and they use it on their video the earnings go to you. So how do we work around that?
@IAMLXGEND3 жыл бұрын
@@OttomanBeats I don’t know what that has anything to do with selling your own music on your own site. You don’t have to work around anything. Put your own music on your own site and sell it. There’s nothing to work around. Audio jungle or whatever other royalty free website has no attachment to what you upload on your own personal website. They are 2 entirely different things and are not connected in any way.

Kind of an expensive start to this route, no? $30 a month for basic Shopify & another $30 a month for Tune boom… $60 a month before I even make my first sale, unless I’m missing something here seems better to start with a third party then once profits come in switch over to your own website I;e Shopify
@IAMLXGEND3 жыл бұрын
If you think $60 a month is “expensive” for investing into your own music website then you are in the wrong career. Everything can’t be free. And if it is, you’re likely not getting what you need to scale things up in the future. Which defeats the whole purpose. If you’re not willing to pay that, you’re definitely not going to even want to look at how much it costs to actually build the site up to a standard on par with industry artists, let alone production costs (mixing, mastering, marketing, etc). If you’re not investing into your career, you’re not serious about it. Have to spend money to make money.
@IAMLXGEND3 жыл бұрын
Also do you realize how much work it’s going to take to migrate an entire customer base and intellectual property /branding/ products to a new site? You’re making it harder for yourself before you even start.
