It is kinda interesting because in the video you said the Estimated Sales total of the top 10 listings on Amazon should be at least 3000 or more. Well, that product that I found does have 3000+ sales in total with the top 10 listings(but only because, one of them has 3000+ sales alone otherwise there would be only about 2700 sales) but when I move to page 2 or click on one of these products and click on the same product by another seller at the bottom of the listing(where sponsored ads are). There are actually other sellers with more sales than the ones which are at the top 10 on the first page. And they are not one of the top 10 on the first page sometimes not even on page 2 but still have more sales than listings on page 1 and 2. What am I now supposed to think of it? Another question I have is that one of the top 10 listings has 3000+ estimated sales alone(as already said) while the other ones on the first page have 200 < sales < 800. When I used a tool that shows me the keywords I found out that this exact listing with 3000+ sales has a certain keyword which has a search volume of 5400 while the others not. And if I search for that keyword then I get different results than the actual product that I am searching except that this item I am talking about is with them under that keyword with 5400 search volume at page 1 under the top 10. And the same product(different seller) one time again at page 2 under top 10 and one time again at page 3(different seller). What does that mean now? Does this product have now High Demand? Since using the right keywords seems to generate a lot of sales for that listing? And here comes another question related to keywords. When defining what a High Demand product is, should you be aware of using the right keywords? I mean like now I identified that the product that I found has less than 3000 estimated sales total under the top 10 listings(without the listing that has 3000+ sales alone). But when paging across I find the exact same product from other sellers but with higher sales than the top 10 which would generate 3000+ estimated sales total, when they would be under the top 10 listings(even without the product that has 3000+ sales alone(still with low competition)). + I found out that with using the right keyword, this product has with one listing alone 3000+ sales with under 100 reviews. So is that still not a high demand product or is that a high demand product? And should I take these steps like paging across in consideration to know if it is a high demand product or should I just look at the top 10 on the first page no matter what? There comes another question. When I am doing product research with product research tools like looking how a certain product is ranking for certain keywords. Can't I just create a manual PPC campaign based on the exact same keywords which perform best for the competitive product? Rather than doing an automatic PPC? Sorry for that huge amount of text but I need the answer to these questions because they seem really crucial to me to find a high demand with low competition product

This is by far the most comprehensive single video training on Amazon business tutorial. No fluff,no beating around the bush but solid indepth training. Thanks for holding nothing back but showing exactly how it is done. This is way better than a lot of paid courses out there that charge you an arm and a leg and give you a lot of videos with watered down training to make it look worthwhile. This is just plain awesome.

To me, spending thousands on any course is no way to start a business. The only way I'd ever take one of these mutlithousand dollar courses is if I already established a million dollar business and the 4k becomes a drop in the bucket. For now, save your money for inventory, fulfilmemt and PPC.

This has been the best training video I have watched. I have spent a little $$$ on other training and spent the last few days banging my head against the wall. I spent the first 7 minutes on your video and then found 34 potential items. Just as thanks, I went ahead an bought the pro extension of Jungle Scout. About to sign up for the App as well because the limited trial for the Niche Hunter helped me lock down another potential item in seconds. I'm going through the learning academy videos as we speak. Really good overview for a good product. People should however realize that even if you find matches in JS, the first ones are likely to be found by others using JS and following vids on how to do this. Those who seem to be successful FBA sellers (e.g. Matt Loberstein, Kevin David, others) emphasize it takes time (days, weeks, NOT "minutes") to really find the first product that will be successful and there may be launches that fail. Also you are an entrepreneur building a business, which is NOT the same thing as "getting rich quick." KZbin videos are another source of revenue for many FBA sellers & they all will use "clickbait" titles. They're not lies, usually. Just not exactly what you think. Making a million dollars, for instance--that mostly goes back into growing your business. There are fees, taxes, losses for stuff that gets damaged or fails, people you hire for services, etc... You're still running a great profitable business but if you think you will clear $million NET PROFIT this year and buy that Porsche I would think again and don't get discouraged--push through and think LONG TERM!

Awesome video! I do have one question that I can't seem to find the answer for and maybe somebody can help me out. When contacting the supplier, they always ask for shipping address for shipping costs. It appears that in order to give them the address you first have to add a product and create everything for this product and then it will give you the address for the supplier to ship to. So my question is, is there a way to get an accurate shipping quote without having to set everything up first? If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it!!

Where you'll be shipping your goods depends on where does Amazon want you to ship your products. To be honest, with our #MillionDollarCaseStudies we've mostly used a freight forwarder as direct shipping services are often more expensive. 📦 Check out our Crash Course on International Freight for #AmazonFBA → www.junglescout.com/blog/international-freight-for-amazon-fba/

I am very confident in starting this amazon business as a seller. I honestly have no doubt that i wont succeed because i have alot of ideas, im very creative, and ive done TONS of research/took notes. But, my point in doing this is to actually make a profit off of this and NOT lose more money than i make. Is $500-$1500 enough to actually start and possibly become successful? I would like to get all of the tools that i personally might need. I just don't know where to start and i want as much knowledge on the possible expenses that i will have to come out of pocket monthly before i actually start making a profit. For instance, I've done research and i know for sure i will be purchasing the payability so i can get paid faster.. Will that help? What is your advise on making a profit and is it a guarantee that i will actually make a profit as a beginner? Also what are the possible/common mistakes and obstacles i may face that will affect my income badly? I just cant afford to lose any money trying to start this business. It would just defeat the whole purpose of me starting it which is to increase my financial income.

Do we need to have a wholesale license to start purchasing from Alibaba? Also -- did you guys have to register as a business before doing all of this or can you just re-sell without having to go through all of that?

Would you recommend starting a new bank account to make these purchases with? I'm assuming doing a wire transfer from my main personal bank account isn't the best idea? If I purchase through Alibaba am I able to use a credit card then? Thank you
@junglescout
@junglescout 7 жыл бұрын
It would be best practice to transfer out of a bank account, however, not required and I know a lot of people just purchase with their personal bank account. You are able to use a credit card if you can pay with Alibaba trade insurance (recommended) or if they accept PayPal (most don't for the full order).

What is alibaba trade insurance?
@TonyaBrewton
@TonyaBrewton 7 жыл бұрын
Carol Marra it’s like an escrow service. When you find a supplier that you wish to use and they accept “trade assurance” you will send the money directly to Alibaba not the supplier. Alibaba holds the money and will only pay the supplier when you confirm that the goods are correct and don’t have any defects or any other issues.

Good video although my first experience was horrible. Amazon overcharged me $250 for "oversized storage" and disposal fees (tossing a returned makeup bag in the trash). They also charge unbelievable fees for FBA processing and simply withdraw whatever amount they want directly from your bank account. BE VERY CAREFUL! Amazon is great for the buyer but terrible for the seller. This experiment cast me over $1000.

May I ask you one more question. I'm selling wall calendars on Amazon. What is the best way to pick right key words for the Engine Search Optimization? My calendar pops up only in a few places, however some of my competitors' calendars pop out everywhere, under any categories of calendar and even under the books category. How do they do it? Is there are any special way to pick the key words? Thx.

Right after you began to say you needed a UPC barcode, then went to inventory, manage inventory, click print item label. then fnsku barcode. you then go to say this is the only bacrode you need to have on your product for amazon. Just a little confused which barcode do you need?
@junglescout
@junglescout 6 жыл бұрын
If you only intend on selling on #Amazon, you can use the FNSKU only as this is Amazon's identifier. If you plan on selling elsewhere, you'll need to have the UPC as well as that is the global identifier barcode. Does this make sense? 🤓

boom crazy question. let's say i'm currently dropshopping a BRANDED product on shopify. I currently instruct my supplier to take the packaging off, so when my customers receive it, they don't know it's actually the other brand's product. I have created my own brand name and custom content for my dropshipping site, so it has the illusion of looking branded at point of purchase. Could i legally do this same process with selling on Amazon? Basically just sell a name brand product at cheaper, but sell it under my "off brand" seller account, and have no trace of branding to the original product when my customer receives it?

Not quite grasping one task, that's printing box labels. Is this just for the actual boxes that contain whatever I've ordered from the supplier and to be shipped to Amazon? If so, then if my order has 500 boxes to be shipped, do I literally print 500 labels and mail to the supplier? Or, do I print a single label and send to the supplier for them to reproduce as many as needed for the boxes? Thanks for such a helpful and encouraging video.

While doing product research to find a new product to launch, do we need to consider the number of reviews and sales of everything on first page of that category i.e., ‘sponsored’, ‘top rated from our brand’, ‘best seller’, and ‘Amazon’s choice’?

(Start i mean when you pay the manufacturer to make the full order, and finish i mean when you sold out every single unit). *without taking into consideration product research and market analysis). 2) What has been your average net margin from your products? 3) How many times have you reinvested your gains? in what period of time? 4) What percentage of Sales actually becomes net gain?

Hey guys! So, your sales estimator reads a different number of sales per month in comparison to your extension. This is on almost all products I compare. Question to you is, why is this? I'd think if you're running off the same algorithm for both, one would be sufficient to check sales per month. Thank you.
