Yes, but we are using Google App Passwords Service for secure access. which is specifically designed for use with apps that don’t support OAuth2 but still allow secure access to your Google account. Hence no need to worry, it will work for sure.

In config file variables like username/password will be stored. Usually information that we change while deployment to live.. we keep that in config file. For making changes later easier..
