I see why the pros have you take care of their saws. It’s your work ethic and attention to detail. Good job Donnie thanks for your videos

I have a ms441c thats ported on the exhaust only and has a opened up muffler and big bore kit. Cut 3 cords flawlessly. Cut a rotten tree that had lots of fine dust come from it. Shut the saw down and now it wont run past 1/2 throttle. Did mtronic reset and it still wont go. My 2 stihl dealers tell me its running this way due to the mods. But it ran very well then poof its over... piston isnt scored. Cleaned the carb, new air and fuel filter, also a new spark plug. Pretty annoyed. Your videos are really informative. Your knowledge is very much appreciated.

Yes. I know the semicircular impression left on the piston from the butterfly that cracked the piston skirt and ruined the the cylinder on my big 048.

Good video, Donny. My friend has a 441 that I rebuilt the carb and replaced the solenoid on it, because it will not idle and it did not fix the issue. It’s a bear to start but when it will start, it’ll run fine on under throttle, but once you let of it’ll die right away. Any idea what I could check for next? Thanks.

Exellent! You ever intrested in plugging in a blown up 500 and seeing how many hours a guys getting out of them? Iv had 2 of my older ones give up the ghost and im wondering if the hour meter on them is about the same.

Every Chevy/GMC truck I have ever owned dropped the transmission between 140-160,000 miles. I have always said the computer is set to do this. The warranty is up and it is away to get owners considering buying new. It would be interesting to see if these saws are factory set to fail as well. If they start failing at the same amount of hours with different operators and conditions...Stihl conspiracy!😅😂

You could take it to the shop see if they can do that bud

Hello donny how are you? I have one question, so if you can answer me. So like this, I have a brushcutter stihl fs461c with 3.0 m tronic version, black solenoid and orange fuel filter. My question is can I replace my black solenoid with a white one without any consequences? Thank you very much. Cheers🍻

Hey Donny you’ve worked on a lot of the later model Mini Macs. Did you ever do much port work on those little saws?
