So,at first I was intrigued by this,but other than take it apart and put it back together,what did you do? How was it serviced?
@tv175s3Ай бұрын
No luck with my rebuild. There was some battery corrosion, all cleaned, but no ticking, no chrono. I guess the circuit or quartz is gone. The outer coil has 1.3KOhm and the inner 30MOhm.

Wow, that was amazing! How did you organize the parts that you removed, to keep them in order? I often use egg cartons to separate screws and fasteners when I am repairing something, although I have not yet attempted a watch movement. But, inspired by this video, I think I will try one --- a cheap one first. :-)

Thanks for uploading. What is your opinion about this movement? Good one? I noticed that the movement is used in many watches from different brands. Thanks

my friend I want to ask for a problem I have a watch like this fixed and it fell out of my hand and the little hands of the second, hour, minute were cut off namely small needles how can i fix them as in my country there is no clock regulator
@philtowle4683 Жыл бұрын
They should just push back on. You can get special tools that are simply 'sticks' with a hole in the end or a press that does the same thing. I find it easier if you hold the hand with a piece of masking tape to align it then press back on.

That’s just a disassemble and reassemble no cleaning or oiling of anything. Also I have never seen a need to service $10 movements that are readily available. When the movement is below a certain price it’s much more cost effective to replace it than service it. If it’s no longer available then you have no choice but with something that can be bought many places for around $10 USD. Great video though very nice work just wish you had actually serviced it.
