Working towards accepting oneself is probably the one I'd most recommend (to anyone). After that everything is so much easier. Of course, accepting oneself can be a hard, slow and long process. You're a delightful person! I believe in you.

Another great video Kate. Like yourself, I also listen to Mel Robbins and have her 2024 journal ready to fill in. When she spoke in her podcast about needing to know where you are in order to find where you’re going, it blew my mind - mostly because it’s so obvious when you think about it. Nobody can get to any destination without a start point, and determining that start point is critical for forming the route. The other week, I was doing my weekly shop in my local Tesco’s (every little helps, lol), and I stumbled across a book I’d seen online a number of times: Atomic Habits by James Clear. Don’t know if you’ve ever heard of or read this book, but honest to God, it’s absolutely life changing! The advice he gives has changed the way I structure my world so I make more quality progress towards where I want to go. I’m only half way through it at the moment; I’m taking my time, studying it, and journaling about it as I go to make the most out of how I can apply it all to my life. During one of the first chapters, he talks about the secret to achieving goals - and it doesn’t fully lie in the perceived attainability of the goals themselves, but rather in the systems we have in place that either help or hinder our ability to bring them to fruition. To quote him directly from the book: “If you’re a musician, your goal might be to play a new piece. Your system is how often you practice, and how you break down and tackle difficult measures. We do not rise to the level of our goals. We fall to the level of our systems. When we solve problems at the results level, we only solve them temporarily. In order to improve for good, we need to solve problems at the systems level. Fix the inputs and the outputs will fix themselves.”. I’ve been following his guidance, and even though I’m only half way through, I’ve noticed a difference in the turnaround of the work that I’m doing, and the efficiency with how it’s being produced. Honestly can’t recommend it enough Kate. Keep these videos coming! Always quick to click when I see you’ve uploaded 😊 Edit: I wrote this out before you got to the point where you picked up said book - because my also-suspected ADHD brain didn’t want to forget what I wanted to say. Excuse me - I’m a pleb 😂🧢😂🧢

Hello again! Can relate soo so much! Although I love the spring/summer, I do know what you mean about the reverse SAD. Maybe its because we know we will see others out enjoying themselves with people, but in the winter its easier to stay inside and not do as much! it is easier to put pressure on yourself to be productive in the summer when more is going on, but you do you!! Just downloaded your desktop calendar and love them! I really needed it haha! Love following your journey because I relate so much! ❤👒Lotta love!

Easily, she got over 2.5k subs in the past year, and that's without even trying!

Sounds like a goal to me! Or should we be edgy and go for 5987 subs 🫡
