I recently purchased this pool pump and i love it. what is the ideal amount of time to run this pump? The higher RPM works great for my auto vac MX6 but not so much on lower RPM. Any tips on how to have both working efficiently? Thanks great videos and help me out a lot

The MX6 just won't work on a very low RPM. It won't damage it, just won't really move much unless the RPM is over 2300 RPM or so.

Depending on filter size 3450 could be way too much. And 5 minutes seems long every time the pump comes on to prime. Maybe initially starting a system.

I'm installing one of these pumps this week, equipment pad is significantly above pool water level, 15+ feet. would you recommend leaving priming speed at the 3450 max?

Maybe. Installing a check valve in front will also help it prime.

Probably not but I just don't think it is necessary.

I like the Jandy Vs FloPro with the iQpump01 if you don't have automation. You can set and control the pump from your smartphone over the internet. A great feature.
