I use clear grip for the Casper grip. Decomposed has it cheap (although the shipping can be preposterous). This would allow you to still see the graphic. Great video.

One of my favorite things about skating is being able to totally "customize" your setups - it's relatively easy to change 'em up and try out different parts, configurations, and fine-tunings. I always enjoy your vids, especially this one for setup geeks like me! :) (also much appreciated the tip for squeaky trucks!)

right?? That customization part is so fun. I'm even very into customizing my stickers now haha Every detail 😂

mini logo bushings remind me of '90s doh-dohs, they're really nice. i usually do a harder one(red) on top, and softer on bottom(indy orange or black)

I haven't tried mini logo yet. I've heard that make good, hard bushings. I bought a few new brands to try. But if they're not hard enough, I'll have to give mini logo a shot!

It’s good to see the difference between freestyle boards and regular boards

I love the tips about the speed cream and the new bushings. I'll definitely try that!

I use a indy barrel for bottom and for top i use the bigger bones hard as top. Makes for a very stable truck with not a lot of threads.

Sarah my girlfriend forbids me skating. Should I skate regardless?

As always, an excellent video. I really like hearing you talk about skateboard parts and it's always nice to see a fresh board setup. I always have problems with dust on DKL Grip, after a while it's no fun at all. Don't you have that problem? Wouldn't Waltz be interested in producing and adjusting bushings after producing his own wheels? I used to only use Bones ball bearings, but now I'm totally in love with Bronson RAWS, the sound of them alone makes me happy. Thank you for your effort and the great work. As always, your videos are the highlight of the weekend and always get me out and on the board. Keep up the good work. You're great

Thanks Daniel! My board does get very dusty, so I wipe it down with a damp cloth before every session, but I think I've grown accustomed to dealing with a slipperier surface over time. I do think it's a bit too slick in cold weather though. So, half of my boards still have regular grip on them. Not sure if Mike is interested in exploring bearings. I know it's hard to get stuff made in general. I haven't tried the Bronsons yet. I just have too many good sets laying around haha Hope you got to go out and get a good skate in!

i'm pretty partial to phillips hardware. i know functionally there is no difference, it's just what i'm used to seeing when i look down

i think i'd have a hard time getting used to rubber grip. neat idea, and probably better for people just starting out that don't have a frame of reference for what griptape is supposed to feel like. i like jessup personally.

"bearing press" huh... Palm of your hand is free 🤷♂

I've just hand pushed bearings into new 104a wheels - I'm envious of her press...
