No matter how many times I see the piranha tank reflecting in the door length mirror I always think it is some new, small tank setup. Like the novelty tanks that are picture frames or something. Love the channel. Been watching your content since 2017ish. Thanks for sharing brother.

Your videos are fun to watch and educational! I dream of having a basement or garage to fill with aquariums! Someday! This was a very helpful video! We've all had a need to set up a quick aquarium. Great tips! Thank you!

I got a chuckle about the Fahrenheit comments. As Canadians living next to the USA, we use both measuring systems. Funny story: I was at the deli counter and asked for 1/4 pound of sliced ham. There was a blank look from the young lady behind the countertop. I realized she was born into the metric system and rephrased the sentence to 120 grams. It's an old man story, lol.

I just needed to do this, but on a much larger scale. I am upgrading my 210 to a 300 and needed to house my giant gourami (2' long and 35-40 lbs). FB Marketplace find, an old '300' bowfront came up! perfect. I set up a King of DIY 3drawer filter, moved my media into it, then my Giant gourami went in when it was running and up to temp. Its been a full week now and Im about to move her into her new 300G thats now in place and running(clearing up now) Thanks Joey for your inspiration and tips!

Joey enjoyed this emergency setup, I will definitely copy that method, wish I was in NS and not TO I would really love some of those Acaras. Considering they are from the tank that houses the “ick” what are the chances of they having ick attached to the “sack”.

Can you make a video on the current air pump you're using and how you have it running air to all your aquariums? Thanks and love your videos. I have been watching your videos since you first started.

i run fluvals 307/407 on my tanks. i was able to start a new tank and added fish the same day by swapping out a media basket. the old tank got new media and the new tank got old. didn’t change water for a month only added some while not filling the tank fully. no issues.

Or hide the extra media/ sponge filters in your sump if you have em. Or steal media and replace with fresh media from established filters. It’s how I jump started my son’s 10 gal that’s now a 20 😂.

The real story with Joey's fish being kept at the 84 Celcius is that he actually keeps superfish that can survive boiling water. His fish are special, no other fish (even in the same breed) can do what his fish can do :P
